My partner and I went on this food tour which ended up being just us and Valerie, our tour guide. So firstly we'd recommend going in the quieter months such as January! Valerie was amazing, super knowledgeable and a real local. We met at her dads news stand and walked past her childhood home! She not only took us to some great food spots but also told us about the history of Rome, food and the neighbourhoods. We tried 10 different dishes at various spots and this included some of, if not the best - pasta, pizza and gelato we've ever had! We highly recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Rome. Thanks Valerie!

Daniela's knowledge of both the food and the history of Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto is truly outstanding. Our conversations included an understanding specific produce, cheese, and charcuterie of today's Rome as well as the history of the Jewish Quarter through many different centuries. Her stories were insightful and the food was truly amazing. She even taught my wife and I how to drink from rome's many nasoni. We had a great time and highly recommend spending your day with Daniela.

A fantastic and fun experience learning about Rome’s amazing food/history - this tour is legit! My wife and had such a great time. Valaria was our tour guide and she was amazing. Her knowledge about Rome’s food, culture, and history was second to none. She was also super nice and answered any and all questions. Valaria is a true Roman local and she walked us around through great neighborhoods while ducking into local eateries with delicious food. She also gave us tips on what to look for when dining in Rome so as not to get sucked into the tourist trap like establishments. I highly recommend this tour to anyone considering it. Be ready to walk, learn, have fun, and EAT.
