Lots of walking, and climbing of stairs, but worth it. Headsets were helpful. Guide was knowledgeable.

We were in Rome on the Easter weekend, and were forced to visit St.Peter's Basilica on probably the worst possible crowd day before it closed. As we pondered the crowd to enter the basilica that looked like 20,000 people at least, we were offered a "deal" to "skip the line" by a somewhat suspect group for what seemed like an outrageous price of 25 Euro's a pop. As we pondered our predicament and the size of the line (we could not even figure out where it started it was so huge), Marie Omar appeared out of the crowd like an angel, offered to help us, and discussed the "skip the line" offer with the group we were going to go with and advised it was a rip off - and she was not clear on whether we would actually be guaranteed to skip the line after handing over our cash. She personally led us to the official Vatican skip the line office and quickly arranged in Italian for 15 Euro's each for us to go into the church and also receive audio guides on a tour that was to begin in minutes. Marie totally saved us from a ZOO situation. She plucked us from obscurity and confusion and saved our day. She refused to take some money for her help and seemed to be just the sort of person you would want to give us a private tour. We took the Green Line Tours while in Rome, and were unsatisfied with the size of the tour groups and the time wasted waiting around for the bus to leave, not to mention the rather superficial information imparted. I would definitely trust and book Sentia Rome Tours. Marie showed her true colours and i was sad we had already done the Vatican Museum Tour and others, as she would have been a WAY better choice for our time and money. Continued success, Marie, and thank you so much again.

On our second visit to Rome we decided to book our tours in advance, since the first time in 2002 most of our time was wasted waiting in line. To our surprise our group ( myself my wife and 2 other couples) went straight to the Sistine Chapel, led by Vincenzo, our tour guide ( before it opened to the public). He gave us an in-depth and fascinating explanation of the tapestries, frescoes and paintings. He then led us to the Vatican Museum and we finished off by visiting the Basilica.
We are grateful of Marie who booked us our tour and would like to refer her services to whoever needs them. You won't be disappointed.

"SKIP THE LINE" ----- BS!!!!
This tour is a scam run by a Canadian man and a British woman - BEWARE!!
We were approached by Marie as we waited in line for the Vatican Museo. We were offered a private tour of only 7 to 10 people and a chance to skip the line. We were told they have their own private entrance. The price seemed a bit over the top but we were on our last day and decided to "SKIP THE LINE". All seemed good so we went to a meeting point. Well we had to wait over an hour as they drafted more SUCKERS!!! Into the tour.

We finally got started 2 hours later after the promised small group was pumped to 30 and meanwhile the guide Leila dribbled on the same "patter" over and over.

But even worse to our complete shock, it wasn't really "skip the line" at all. Marie had joined the line earlier and the delaying tactic by Leila the guide as they drafted in more suckers, had allowed Marie to progress in the queue. We pushed into the queue where Marie was and just had to wait in the regular line for over an hour like we would have done without the guide.
We all felt cheated as we paid 25euros extra for the no queue promise. Everyone in the group was furious.

And to top of it all, our 60 year old tour guide Leila was not impressive at all. She wasn't very fluent in English and wasn't good as a guide either, she repeated the same things over and over.

All in all, we were totally disappointed and felt duped. Several of us did the whole tour again several days later with our iPhone app that was 10 times better than the tour company.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Stay away from them and in fact they should be prosecuted for fraud.

First off we do not sell "skip the line" tours. What we offered you and everyone else in the group was a Guided tour with a liscenced guide, which we delivered. As for Layla( your guide that day),most people that take the tour with her are quite happy ( as you can see here on TA). I am sorry that she didn't abide to your level of excellence and that you felt cheated. As I had mentioned that Monday morning there were issues at the Vatican Museum beyond my control.

We didn't take a tour with Sentia, but when we were stuck outside St. Peter's, looking at a huge lineup just to get in, Marie was exceptionally helpful.
She pointed us to the Vatican's own tourist office, where we got to skip the line and get an audio tour of the basilica.
Marie took a lot of her own time to show us how to do it. And she absolutely refused my attempts to pay her.

I had the recent pleasure of meeting with Maria and Franco outside of the Vatican. At the time I had a tour of the Vatican arranged through the hotel that I was staying at, however I decided not to go ahead with the tour and booked with Maria instead, I am so glad that I made that decision as it was the best thing that I did. The tour guide (Mariana) was fantastic, she was so knowledgeable and made the tour lots of fun.

Maria and Franco have my highest recommendation, they are both experts in their field and they are both so personable and friendly, dealing with them is an absolute privilege. I will be recommending anyone I know visiting Rome to book with them, and when I am back I will most definitely be using them again.

Thank you so much Maria and Franco. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet you both.

We were so pleased to have the assistance of Maria Omar and Franco Falci who went beyond what might be expected to work with us. They were knowledgeable and delightful and we feel fortunate to have found them!

We met Franco on the train into Rome from Civitivecchia. He explained his services to my husband. We were in need of a ride to FCO early in the morning on a Sunday morning. We were also located in Piazza della Rotunda (Pantheon) so I was a bit worried that the driver might not find us.

The driver, Manolo, was there, as promised, right on time (4:15 am). Cost was $50 euro to FCO. Was well worth it. Thank you Franco and Manolo, we appreciated the great service. Would not hesitate to recommend, just email Franco on his website.
