Eight of us went here to celebrate the start of our European trip so six people were pretty jet lagged for a dinner starting at 8pm (my husband and I had been in Europe for a few days already). We had made reservations for the wine pairing dinner. I was not expecting it to be so busy. Despite warnings that everyone needed to be seated on time it didn’t seem to follow a schedule. I had been expecting someone guiding the restaurant as a whole but instead it was one waitress per table trying to shout to be heard. We had three people in our group who were not drinking wine (this was mentioned on the reservation) but they weren’t offered anything else to drink besides water. The food was good, especially the meatball, Cacio e Pepe, and tiramisu. All the wine was well selected. And I loved the art on the walls. I would go back as a wine fan but I probably would keep it to a group of other wine connoisseurs.

Excellent selection of wines (non-trivial and with different goodies). The kitchen churns out (in addition to the inevitable exquisite bread basket) refined dishes with not bad combinations. Note of absolute merit - in these times - to the attention and kindness of the staff: fantastic! Prices well above average, justified by the value of raw materials and their use.

We attended a wine-tasting evening here on the last night of our honeymoon in Rome in December 2024. It was an exceptional evening. The room was very pretty, in the wine-cellar of the restaurant and the setting was intimate, with just five couples sitting around a large table (two other honeymooning couples and one on a birthday trip). The evening was run by a very nice Italian lady who spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about everything we ate and drank. The evening was structured around five different wines (one sparkling, one white, two red, one dessert), each paired with a particular dish. All the food and drink was delicious and we learned a great deal. I would recommend to anyone in Rome!

So delicious. We had an antipasto of burrata with dried tomato pesto- off menu but our server told us about it when I asked about a burrata antipasto. Perfection with delicious bread. Then we shared a great Cacio e Pepe which was one of the best I’ve ever had. Secundi: meatballs that were tasty with perfect texture and another dish- a cod dish. I think the cod could have been cooked for a minute less for my taste, but the seasonings were nuanced and rich. Dolce: lemon cake with custard. The cake was yummy, albeit a little dry. Eating the custard along with it saved it and provided a great dessert. We tried to get reservations at Roscioli, but could not. The website recommended here, owned by the same people but not all of the same menu items . We were not disappointed. Ate at a long table that was fun and great atmosphere. Wonderful and helpful servers. Good wine list! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Although "instructive," especially about wines, the atmosphere was lively, the staff friendly, and the food memorable. We had several different glasses of wine without knowing the prices, but when the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find it all was a good value. We hope to eat here again!

This is a spin off of the very best restaurant in Rome, much simpler menu but an equally superb wine list. Katerina who looked after us was exceptional, she seemed to know a story of every wine on the very long list, and she didn’t stop all night. Food was delicious, don’t miss the selection of local cold meats and cheese. Make sure you make a reservation.

We did the 8pm food and wine tasting and I can easily recommend it. The description of each wine was really interesting without being at all pretentious and the food pairings were perfect. I have already recommended this to several of my friends and will continue to do so. To sit in a wine cellar, sharing delicious wines, food and conversation with like-minded strangers can only be a good thing.

The cooking class was so much fun. Lily and Marlose were so organized and kept everyone engaged and focused in a good way. The best part was that the dishes were not complicated and were definitely meals to be enjoyed when returning to the US. In addition to the food, the wine pairings were exceptional and there was no shortage of wine if you preferred more. Our sommelier nailed the food and wine perfectly. There was also plenty of time to socialize with the rest of the group. We had folks, not only others from the US but also from Mexico and Australia, so it was great to learn more about their cooking customs and homelands. I would highly recommend this experience.

This was an amazing experience. Getting to meet new people while tasting some amazing wines and pairing them with delicious foods. The host was very knowledgeable and staff were friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this evening enough thankyou for a great end to a fab holiday !

We attended a Wine Tasting event at Rimessa Riscioli and had a wonderful experience. The sommelier provided great information about the local wines we tasted, and they were paired perfectly with great tasting food. I was not expecting to feel "full" but it was literally a complete dinner. We lucked out and had a very friendly group and made some great connections, which was a bonus to the event. I highly recommend this Wine Tasting event!
