The high column near to Spanish Steps and Piazza Mignanelli had been erected there to commemorate the Immaculate Conception in the 19th century. Do not miss this spot while you travel around this area.

This tall column is right next to the crowded Spanish Steps. It commemorates Pope Pius IX's declaration of immaculate conception. An important religious monument.

This column Dell'Immacolata or Immaculate Conception in English is located at intersections of Piazza Mignanelli and Piazza di Spagna. There is also Palazzo Mignanelli and Valentino shop. Column has been built in the 19th century and has plenty of details to admire.

Located within Piazza Mignanelli, sits this quite beautiful column, atop sits a statue of the blessed Virgin Mary. We especially liked the base with statues of Moses, Isaiah, David and Ezekiel. Worth a look during an explore of the area.
