TOUR PLAN OPTION 1 (ITALY AND SWITZERLAND)

Option 2 (ITALY, SWITZERLAND,FRANCE)
ROME-VATICAN-PISA-VENICE-ENGERBERG OR INTERLAKENN-LUCRANEZURICH
or Add Paris and Disneyland

DAY 1 Reach Rome although you have tram, bus, train, taxi but better to book a service
online which will drop you to your hotel. Now you can book a small vehicle which
charges less than a taxi and usually is a 10 to 20seat van to drop u to hotel. This is a
common service like matador which will pick many people.
Always select a hotel close to termini( termini is the central railway station) . Rome has
an excellent public transportation system so u can reach anywhere from termini.
Now all places are within 5 kms distance. A lot of Indian restaurants here. You can use
an option of hop-on-hop-off bus where ticket is valid for 24/48 hrs and u can take this bus
to give an initial idea of what's there to see to decide later on what you want to see.

DAY2 you can visit Coliseum, Forum this will take nearly half a day if you want to
understand it better. (U can watch movie Gladiator) before going to Rome. Later you can
visit trevi fountain, Payasa venisa, take tour in the streets of rome at night and enjoy the
beauty of rome.

DAY3 Early morning visit Vatican( it will take half an hour in bus) don't miss the
museum there and see the the church( biggest in world), Visit Payasa Navona and later
you can see spanish steps, trevi fountain at night, and see the streets of Rome again at
night.

DAY4 Early morning by 8 0 clock catch train and reach PISA, Take a BUS and go to
PISA leaning tower and spend few hours, click 1 million photographs from all angles. By
afternoon leave PISA, take a train and reach Florence. Now if have interest in ART than
stay at Florence otherwise take connecting train to Venice.Reach Venice at night either J
stay on the Island or cheaper options are there within 45 minutes by bus
DAYS Spend in Venice visit the island of Burano and Murano, spend time at St marks
church and do cheap shopping at Rialto bridge.

Day 6 Take train to reach Milan and take connecting train to Lucrane via Arthgoldu. Now
go either to Interlaken or Engelberg ( spend two days there, one for mountain activity and
one to see the beauty of Switzerland and understand why it was made so popular in
Movies) In Switzerland always travel by day to see the beauty around you.

Day 8 Move to Lucrane, spend a day or move to Zurich, spend one night in zurich
checkout form hotel and keep the luggage in his store and see zurich in day.

Option 2 after Interlaken or Engelberg Take the train to Paris via any route

Day 9 Day 10 Spend in Paris, if children are with you than add one more day for
Disneyland near Paris.

My husband and I have been using Best of Europe for 15+ years. Anna Rita and Bill provide VIP service from the moment you step off the plane... effortlessly getting us through passport control coming and going... put you into a waiting Mercedes Sedan or Mercedes Van for larger groups.

They customize your tour in whatever city in Europe you wish. They have a fabulous, knowledgeable team of tour professionals in each major city who will take the best care of you!

They regularly host celebrities and dignitaries and have been doing this for many years. Last visit we went to the Vatican and got VIP tickets... right to the front of the line. Same when we used them in Barcelona to see Gaudi’s famous church, La Sagrada Familia and all the museums, markets, promenades...

This latest visit to Roma, we took a tour through the Grand Synagogue, something I’ve wanted to do for years. Our Guide, Sonia was lovely and extremely knowledgeable. She and our driver took us all around to see new sites we had never seen before. Followed by a delicious lunch right in front of the Pantheon.

We can’t say enough about Best of Europe. You won’t be disappointed! Worth every penny and they will make your vacation seamless, worry-free, extravagant and extraordinary!

Tell Bill that Lauren and Cliff sent you! 👍

I am an old hand at making my own way around cities like Rome and Venice, but when it came time to put my most valued treasure -- My mother -- in the hands of someone to help her get through the lines and the confusion of a hectic city like Rome, I turned to Best of Europe. From the easiest and most well-attended pick up at the airport to getting her through the Vatican without he usual hassle, to seeing that she experienced the grand city in grand style, to getting her to Venice and delivering her to the Danielli, my hotel, the folks at Best of Europe provided my treasured mother and her companions with an eternally world-class experience in the eternal city. There was no whim that was ignored, no attention spared, no sight at which her travelling group was not able to get to the best spot with the greatest of ease guided by expert explanations and attention.

It is no wonder that celebrities and dignitaries use Best of Europe as their private concierge for Italy and beyond. Their knowledge and access is priceless, their contributions to making the experience sublime are substantial. My mother has passed on since her visit, but the great care taken by Best of Europe to make her visit unforgettable went the extra mile, allowing her to experience heaven while still on Earth... Thank you!

My mom, 8 year old son and I had the most fantastic experience with two private tours through Best of Rome, each with the same incredible tour guide, Roberta. Her knowledge and overall warmth are unparalleled. I have previously viewed the Vatican and St. Peters without tour and vowed never to do that again. The experiences were like night and day. I have also previous toured the Colosseum and the Forum with a group tour that again could not even come close to our experience with Roberta.
Both tours were by far the highlights of our trip to Italy.

Tour of Italy included (1) Venice, romantic Italian city. It is a 5 hours drive from Innsbruck to Venice driving through Mussolini’s Bridge of Liberty (2 kms over Adriatic sea) and then a boat ride over Guidecca Canal to St.Mark’s square in the heart of Venice. Other attraction are : Ducal Palace (famous prison), the Bridge of Sighs connecting two buildings over water, the Clock Tower and St.Mark’s Basilica. While at Venice visit Murano’s Glass Factory, to see art of creating famous venetian blown glass. St.Mark’s Square is a tourists' spot which is also the most photographed square in the world.

(2) From Venice, moved on to Pisa and see the marble Cathedral called “Field of Miracles” . Also visit the “Leaning Tower of Pisa” also known as Bell Tower (DOMO) which took 100 years to complete made out of white marble. It is learnt that the tower is leaning 14.9 ft from the centre at present.
Then proceeded to Florence to see the impressive Deumo, 14th century Palazzo Vecchio Tower and Florence’s most distinguished bridge on Arno River – Ponte Vecchio. Also visit Signoria Square with a fountain of Neptune. From Venice it takes 4 hours to reach Pisa by bus at a distance of 260 kms.
From Pisa to Florence it takes about one hour by bus.

(3) Visit Rome & Vatican - From Florence drive to Rome. It is a 4.1/2 hours journey by tour bus. On arrival, visit Piazza Venezia, the colossal Victor Emmanuel II Monument and also the famous Trevi Fountain. Legend holds that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome. From there, we proceed to Vatican to visit St.Peter’s Basillica in all its size, beauty and splendor. Later, you can see the 3D Rewind show at Rome. It is 3 dimentional historical journey through the history of imperial Rome. Do not miss the Colosseum in Rome and other ancient ruins.

My wife and I just returned to Virginia after a magical 2 week tour of Italy that started in Rome and ended in Lake Orta. In between we travelled to the Amalfi Coast, Cinque Terre, Siena, San Gimigiano, Florence, Venice, and Milan. We stayed in lovely hotels, relied on chauffered cars and occasional trains (which were wonderful), walked everywyere, benefited from superb private tours of churches, museums, and wonderfully varied landscapes, took a great cooking class near San Gimigiano http://www.ilvicario.it , took many photographs, ate delicious food wherever we were in small and more well known restaurants, bought a few lovely gifts for friends and ourselves including leather goods (Rome), hand painted renderings of local scenary (Florence), wonderfully scented soaps (Sorento), and Borsalino hats (Milan). We have new friends in Italy at Best of Europe http://bestofeurope.biz/ to thank for a very low stress, high enjoyment vacation. You can count on them both for the highest level of service, attention to detail, and flexibility. Nothing was left to chance and they keep close tabs on us to make sure we were happy in getting where we wanted to be without fuss or muss. We look forward to working with Best of Europe on our next trip.

The Best of Europe is truly exceptional! We have used their services over a number of years and they always exceeded expectations. From the airport services in Milan, Rome, and Barcelona to private drivers and guides across Europe, the Best of Europe helps to make fantastic lasting memories. They helped to plan private excursions from every port in our recent Mediterranean cruise – including Sicily, Naples, Rome, Malta, Corsica, and Monaco. All of my questions and inquiries were responded to very promptly and efficiently and they worked with us on very customized itineraries. I have also recommended them to friends who have been pleased. Their personal touch is quite evident in the pride they take in ensuring their clients always have a first-class and very special experience.

Our experiences with The Best of Europe have all been excellent.Anna Rita gains access to places we would have never found without her..from a small, ancient ceramics shop that's only open 2 hours a day...! To catacombs where you feel alone with the history. Her expertise with this ancient city is remarkable. If you have been to Rome and think you may have seen it...have Anna Rita show you her Rome...or Orvieto or San Gimanano.. The experience truly makes you understand that Italy cannot been seen in one lifetime. It can be experienced...Anna Rita opens the hidden doors...use this company. I will post pictures of our trips.

Fantastico! We have been accompanied by guide Anna Rita at Best of Europe in Rome on several different occasions during the past several years, and her qualifications cannot be over stated. She is extremely efficient at airports, hotels and cruise ships, knowledgeable in both history and finding the best gelato, and seemingly knows every shortcut and secret of this glorious ancient city. Excellent English, endlessly patient, friendly, and will accommodate special interests or requests. Do not settle for less! Anna Rita will bring you unforgetable memories.
