We reserved online and were greeted at the airport in Rome by our personal driver who took our family of five and all of our luggage in a Mercedes van with very good air conditioning to the front door of our vacation rental. We were picked up at the end of our vacation direct in front of our apartment in... More

I have recently had a very poor experience with Terravision in Rome on the 15th of June. I purchased two tickets from Rome Termini to Ciampino Airport before the trip, allowing more than enough time to get from the train that would be returning to Rome from Florence to the aforementioned bus. However, the train got delayed which caused us... More

We used the terravision bus from the airport to Termini station, we had prepaid before we left England, it was only 16 euros for 4 of us. The bus wasn't on time but was only about ten minutes late, apparently late buses are the norm in Rome, anyway we were very pleased with the service when it came and was... More

Stinky, dirty buses, narrow seats. AIRCON not working properly. It is a wonder how they operate and have passengers.

A Terravision sales representative offered us to buy this Terravision bus tickets at Sevilla airport while waiting to board our plane, She gave us an official bus schedule showing buses leaving FCO towards Rome Termini every 30 minutes or so and assured us that by buying the tickets there, we would avoid long lanes at the Fiumicino bus ticket office.... Booked online to catch bus Rome to Ciampino at 17.50, arrived at 17.40 to be told that they changed the departure to 17.30 and the next bus wasn't till 18.55! Staff refused to refund the tickets.. This is a terrible service and no body should be supporting them with their service.

Staying in Piazza Venezia / Ancient City

Neighborhood Profile
Piazza Venezia / Ancient City
If all roads lead to Rome, then they all end here. Piazza Venezia and the Ancient City are the very epicenter of the Eternal City. Within a 360-degree turn, Roman history unrolls in front of you, from its ancient beginnings to its 21st century transformations. Whether it’s those historical playgrounds known as the Roman and Imperial Forums, or the side-street shops, trattorie, and churches, this neighborhood packs a cultural punch and then some. Screaming scooters, battling buses, crazy cars, and lots of foot traffic converge in the area all day long. By dusk, a different vibe emerges as the neighborhood quiets down. Don't be surprised if you find yourself passing through the Piazza Venezia at least once a day, since it’s the most direct way to get from one side of town to another.
