Waited for more than 30 minutes for bus from Termini to Ciampino without. There was no announcement for the delay. In addition to the delay the bus was dirty with air conditioning dripping on some seats.

Long waiting queues and unfriendly staffs. The bus was very old, no wifi, no AC. We just got exhausted. It was so badly sweating and suffocating. Online reservations are utterly waste. They sell tickets everywhere and there is a big queue. Worst experience.

I have used Terravision transfers from Fumichino to Romeseveral times and it just gets worse. They happily sell tickets and tell you the location of pickup, but the number of waiting customers is often large and angry, and the bus pick ups very sporadic. Staff are very unhelpful at best and belligerent at second best. The train is more expensive... More

i do not recommend terravision bus because i used to go from Ciampino to Rome and it was an old bus and no wifi. I recommend other bus, i think it's name was shifini or something like that, cost is 3.90 Eur and new buses with wifi included. I have taked from Rome to Ciampino airport and it was very... More

The bus came late and left too late also. At the end we reached Termini station with half an hour delay and had to postpone some of our plans. The young lady who checked passengers' tickets was extremely rude and shouted on everyone in the que. She endlessly repeated ''no! you can't! you are not allowed!'' but didn't bother to... More

We reserved online and were greeted at the airport in Rome by our personal driver who took our family of five and all of our luggage in a Mercedes van with very good air conditioning to the front door of our vacation rental. We were picked up at the end of our vacation direct in front of our apartment in... More

I have recently had a very poor experience with Terravision in Rome on the 15th of June. I purchased two tickets from Rome Termini to Ciampino Airport before the trip, allowing more than enough time to get from the train that would be returning to Rome from Florence to the aforementioned bus. However, the train got delayed which caused us... More

We used the terravision bus from the airport to Termini station, we had prepaid before we left England, it was only 16 euros for 4 of us. The bus wasn't on time but was only about ten minutes late, apparently late buses are the norm in Rome, anyway we were very pleased with the service when it came and was... More

Staying in Piazza Venezia / Ancient City

Neighborhood Profile
Piazza Venezia / Ancient City
If all roads lead to Rome, then they all end here. Piazza Venezia and the Ancient City are the very epicenter of the Eternal City. Within a 360-degree turn, Roman history unrolls in front of you, from its ancient beginnings to its 21st century transformations. Whether it’s those historical playgrounds known as the Roman and Imperial Forums, or the side-street shops, trattorie, and churches, this neighborhood packs a cultural punch and then some. Screaming scooters, battling buses, crazy cars, and lots of foot traffic converge in the area all day long. By dusk, a different vibe emerges as the neighborhood quiets down. Don't be surprised if you find yourself passing through the Piazza Venezia at least once a day, since it’s the most direct way to get from one side of town to another.
