Florence

Florence is an amazing place to visit with its beautiful duomo. Florence has lovely places to shop and eat at and yet it's very tranquil.

This is my second visit to the Mall. At my first visit, I managed to buy three pairs of shoes and was shown a good selection of handbags. I prepared myself well for the second visit, after reading the reviews in Tripadvisor to go early. I was very disappointed with the selection. I also went to the nearby Prada outlet... More

If your target is Prada bags, then the Prada outlet at the Mall (I felt) had a wider selection. For clothes then Space has a slightly larger selection. If you can only pick one, go to The Mall (at least you can have your Prada fix and find a few other bargains for the other brands at the same time).... More

We had the most wonderful time shopping in Florence with Maren Erickson and Chia! I would rate it as my most fun shopping day ever. Maren is a warm, personable and knowledgable woman who loves shopping and knows where to take her clients in Florence for the most beautiful items at the best prices. I was a bit skeptical before... Gucci Prada Dior however if you are used to the US outlets like Woodbury, Cabazon, Sawgrass you might find the prices high and the selection limited. There are two Prada outlets, one that is set all by itself and I liked it the best.

The VAT refund write-up of this review is a transfer from my posting under LornaC275. My two other reviews were posted under Lorna Corbett, for some reason. Before the trip to Rome, I bought a book that listed the leather shops and bargains in each city and town of Italy that are worth mentioning (per the author). The stores that... More
