There are some truly amazing works of art from world-renowned artists that we didn't expect to find: Klimt, Van Gogh, Gutusso, Giacometti, and much more. There are no English explanations or art statements and the museum is poorly organized (no maps, few directions, lacking museum...More

The 19th and 20th century works of art were well displayed and interesting. Having just been to the Borghese Gallery, these works were a nice contrast. The cafe/restaurant within the museum is also worth a stop.

I enjoyed my visit to the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. The wonderful exterior was enough to tempt me. Not having much knowledge of modern or indeed any art, your reviewer falls back on the “I know what I like “criteria. There are fine...More

On my numerous visits to Rome, I found this museum to be almost bereft of visitors. The place felt large, gloomy, and uninspiring, carrying the dead weight of the past--a huge stash of 19th century paintings. It's modern art collection seemed hopelessly overshadowed by this...More

The museum provides a taste of many great artists - Giacometti, Monet, Van Gogh, Mondrian. Take a walk through the park and enjoy. Another one of many galleries that are under-attended. A visit at mid-day at the height of tourist season was unhurried and pleasant.

Very nice variation of different pieces of modern time art. Interesting place to visit for an art lover or diy-painter. Lots of inspiration!

A large collection of contemporary art which was interesting to see in such a historic city. This building is beautiful and the height of the ceilings alone are worth the visit. There is also a lovely cafe behind in a pretty courtyard.

Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of
Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries
away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s
palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty
of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for
last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as
such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has
several great sporting clubs known for tennis and

The nearest metro line is flaminio. Then it's a pleasant fifteen minute walk to the art gallery. Well worth it.
