I loved every minute about my small group cooking experience in Fabio's amazing Villa nestled into the gorgeous countryside of Mazzano Romano . The view from the balcony is stunning and I picked up many tips from our chef Francesco . A perfect and fun filled experience from start to finish... one that I will always remember . Grazie Mille... My wife and I attended Fabiolous cooking day during our trip to Rome. We decided to sign up for this class because we typically love cooking classes, and figured this would also be a great experience to learn how to cook Italian food to bring home to cook for friends and family. This class was a bit different because we... More

Thank you for joining us for a Fabiolous Cooking Day! Chefs understand that preparation is 90% of cooking. Watching the pasta boil, placing something in the oven, or stirring a sauce has little value. Listening for techniques is where true learning takes place, but we are sorry your expectations were not met. We wish you the best of stays in... More

We had a wonderful day driving out to the small medieval town outside Rome, shopping for groceries (and delicious red wine at €1.50 per liter!!), and cooking some amazing meals with the group. We made 3 different pastas from scratch, veal saltimbocca, and tiramisu and each course was more delicious than the first. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing day making three different pastas, a secondi, a contorni, a salad and a dessert. A jammed packed experience without feeling rushed. Started off with a tour of the Campi di Fiori. Mariella (I am so sorry if I have the name of our chef incorrect) was extremely knowledgable, informative and personable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting... More

My wife, my 5 children, and I travelled to Italy this summer (August 2016) to visit family. My wife and I are first generation Italian Canadians, and we both grew up with our mothers making fresh pasta and authentic Italian food. We went to the historic medieval village of Mazzano with chefs Marinella and Marco for an absolutely wonderful day... More

I loved this cooking experience! Shopping in the Campo Di Fiore market for fresh veggies, meats, and cream, then walking to the cooking studio on the island of Tiberina. The studio was beautiful and Chef Paulo was amazing. We learned how to make three types of pasta. Everything we made was so fresh and delicious! We even got to meet... More

Our group of 5 participated in this class, loved the experience of visiting Rome's outdoor market followed by learning to cook with the ingredients purchased there. We continue to talk about that day and the techniques that were learned even now that we are back home! Pasta maker's have been purchased along with the proper semolina and 00 flour and... More

Chef Victoria is a fantastic chef and instructor. We were involved in the fresh food selections at the local markets. Once in the kitchen and the prep work began, it experience was absolutely wonderful and to know that you are involved in the creation. Small group no more than 8. I highly recommend this class.

I cannot say enough about this day trip. We drove to a small town outside Rome called Mezzano. First we shopped for the food we were going to prepare. Our chef, Francesco, was friendly and easy to understand. The town was picturesque and the country home was utterly charming. We cooked, we drank, we made new friends, and WE ATE!!... More
