If you’re in Rome to do view history, you will probably want to include this relatively small museum (after seeing the major sights, of course). It’s a worthwhile stop if you have the time.

This is a very good underappreciated museum in Rome. It is one of the four branches of National Museum of Rome that you can visit for a very reasonable price if you buy the admission ticket that is good to visit all four museums within...More

If this museum were located anywhere other than Rome, it would be a destination onto its own. But given the number of world class museums in this city, this is a place most have never heard of. Truly a stellar collection mainly of Roman sculpture....More

Fantastic museum with some amazing pieces. It's easy to miss it while blinded by the rest of Romes splendor but we highly recommend a visit. The atmosphere was calm and it was a nice contrast to some of the other places we visited

There is a rooftop cafe with incredible views of the city. There is also a great spot to view Palantine Hill and the Colosseum. Inside there are incredible statues, busts, and paintings, and the building itself is an architectural masterpiece. We didn't find value in...More

We enjoyed this museum. Some of the rooms are really cool. It was a little different than some of the museums that we had visited prior in Rome. We were only able to stay for 1 hour as it was at the very end of...More

This gallery is a superb find tucked a stones throw away from the Piazza Navona. Full price adult entry is approx €12 (we had under 25 discount making it €8 each). In all we spent around 2 hours in the gallery but you could do...More

Palazzo Altemps was a big, positive surprise for us. beautiful building, nice cool balconies on the inside to sit down, lot of ancient artifacts, a nice inside chapel and a lot of modern art included. a nice collection of both worlds - we loved it

This is not one of the most famous museum of Rome, but I really liked the atmosphere. Marvellous masterpieces of ancient roman art are exposed in an historical palace right behind Piazza Navona.

Across the street from the church was Palazzo Altemps. Wow, we were very impressed with this luxurious palace designed by Melozzo da Forli for Girolamo Riario. The palace became the home of the Altemps family in 1568, and there is a stunning inner courtyard. The...More

I remember been there about two hours, those ancient god statues fascinated me and I was going around there and back again in that maze. It's good if you can go there another day, too. There so much to look at.
