We used Walks of Italy for an all in one tour of the Colosseum including the underground and top row section plus Palantine Hill and Roman Forum. Our guide was very experienced and full of the history and culture of ancient Rome. Overall it was good value for money to get a greater perspective of the ruins rather than wonder... More

An excellent and knowledgeable guide who clearly has a passion for Rome and its history. He was able to show us some interesting spots off the beaten path as well as the 'must see' bits. Overall a really good tour and highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of having Francesca as our guide for the Coliseum. Not only is she very knowledgeable about the sites, she is very passionate. She knows her stuff and her Italian comes out when she's explaining and makes it very fun. Her English is great and she made this tour very enjoyable while learning more than I ever... More

We used Walks of Italy for tours in Venice, Florence, Rome and Pompeii and all were uniformly very good to superb. The VIP Colosseum and Forum tour was well done with dual leaders each taking portions of the tour with both being very knowledgable and good at story telling. Would definitely recommend them as a reliable tour operator for Italy.

Excellent tour of the Vatican. Well organized and conceived. The guide was very good. Just the right amount of detail and guidance with a splash of humor. This was the early morning tour that permitted early access to the Sistine Chapel. It was well worth the money. We highly recommend the tour.

We used Walks of Italy for two tours - one for the Colosseum, Palantine Hill and Roman Forum. Our guide, Valentina, was knowledgeable and articulate. She provided just the right balance of information and history to make the places come alive. We also had them for our Tour of the Vatican. Our Guide there, Vicenzo was amazing. I cannot imagine... We first used Walks of Italy 3 years ago and have recommended it to friends and family since. On this trip, we booked Caesars Palace and thoroughly enjoyed our tour and learned so much from our fantastic and knowledgeable guide, Laura. This was a unique addition to the colosseum tour. Once again, staff went above and beyond to make our... More

Both tours were great and conducted by highly knowledgeable guides. Tour guide who took us for the Colleseum, Mauricio, was fantastic. Small group sizes meant you could ask questions and get quality responses. Highly recommend!

We took this tour to visit the colosseum, the forum and Palantine Hill and I must say it was probably the highlight of our three week visit to Italy! Francesca our guide was fabulous! She gave us all sorts of information about these places! She easily helped us to imagine what life was like back in the Roman days! She... More
