We had a great tour of the Vatican. Our guide Angela was super. Explained everything well and had printed visual aids to show the finer points of various paintings. Recommend to get the early tour in the summer that starts prior to opening to the general public as the Vatican gets crazy crowded by 10am. She also had headphones for... More

Great evening with Denise and Roberto. The chefs were entertaining as they taught us how to make great pasta. The meal, atmosphere, wine, everything was fantastic and made for a very memorable evening.

Suzanna was a gracious and experienced host at the Vatican tour. She shared a lot of information that made it a positive experience for teenagers as well as adults. It was also well worth it to skip the general admission lines!

We recently organised two tours with Walks of Italy in Rome, Pristine Sistine and VIP Colossuem at Night. Due to time restraints, these tours offered little to no queuing so we were able to experience these magnifcent sites in a busy schedule. Both tours provided excellent knowledgeable guides which you would expect but they had personality as well which made... More

Top marks to Uta, our guide, she was excellent in trying conditions (it was raining heavily at the beginning). Our party included children aged 15,13 and 11 and they fully enjoyed the tour. We took the more expensive tour of the Colosseum which involved visiting the underground areas. Highly recommended.

Sylvia made the tour. Very adept at history and interpretation of Renaissance art. We were able to see the ceiling of the chapel without the throngs. Sylvia's added comments and historical tidbits made it very entertaining. Recommended.

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
