Valerio was the guide for our small group and he was great, as was our local guide in Pompei. We went to Positano first, which was much better in my opinion, since it made the drive home at the end of the day shorter.
Booked this tour on recommendation from friends and really pleased we did . Tour started at 8.30 am outside the Oppio Cafe opposite the Colosseum where we met our guide who was a history major in Roman architecture.
Great information delivered in an informative, fun...More
Our tour guide Maddalena was excellent. Everything was well organized and on time. The early morning express service fit our schedule perfectly. Little waiting and uncrowded experience of the the magnificent Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Bascillica.
Fun, informative, great background to these historic sites! We had Mariella (Mary) as our tour guide and she was amazing! With an art history background she knew so much and was able to provide context and history behind everywhere she took us to. She gave...More
Our guide (Nicolas) was friendly and knowledgable. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide. He gave us the perfect amount of information (which was very interesting) and kept us moving along. I wouldn't have changed anything about the tour.
I’m so glad I book this tour it was a great experience and worth every penny. Emma our tour guide (hope that’s the correct spell of her name) was amazing, knowledgeable and super funny, she is definitely great at her job.
We spent 8 days in Rome and took 6 guided tours through Walks of Italy. Every tour was fantastic. All of our guides (Tiberus, Andrea, Maddalena, Georgia, Dario, and Marta) were so knowledgeable, friendly and really helped explain ancient Rome. We learned so many more...More
Jeb was an excellent tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job weeding out the must-sees. The early entrance is 1000% worth the money. We passed back through the Sistine Chapel after opening and it was a zoo. My favorite part was...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
