Day started early at colosseum. Our guide Mr T was fantastic, so knowledgeable and funny. Took us around the colosseum then into the forum and then up to Augustus' palace and Flavia's apartment. Finished at the top of Palatine hill. Highly recommend this tour.

We booked the crypts bones and Catacombs tour. 5+++ for our guide Andrea and for the tour. Andrea was so knowledgeable passionate and funny and made the tour cruisey and fun. I highly recommend you take a Walks with Italy tour especially in Rome there is so much to learn and so much history you need an insiders perspective.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Having a guide is essential to fully appreciate the Vatican and all its treasures. Also, book the early tour and there are less people. Good job "Walks of Italy". Thanks!

We were the only 2 in our group which was fantastic! We had our own private tour! Victor (I apologize if that is not his name) was great and really engaging and knowledgeable! He volunteered to take our picture. I also really liked that he made sure people didn't get in our way when he was pointing stuff out to... More

We did two tours with Walks of Italy. The first was the night we arrived and was an introduction to Rome. The second was to Pompeii and Positano. Both were very well run, informative, and a great value. They receive top ratings and I would highly recommend them.

We booked the VIP Colosseum underground tour with Roman Forum and Palatine Hill which was excellent! The booking online was simple and easy and the instructions spot on. As mentioned the tour was excellent and saved waiting in line with access to restricted areas, this was all good but the guide we had Angela made it even better! She was... More

The Pristine Sistine was definitely the tour to take. Anna Aruta was the perfect host. Very knowledgeable. She knew where to stop, when to skip, and knew how much time to spend on each. Anna was the best.

The Pristine Sistine tour with Walks of Italy got us into the Sistine Chapel early, which was so nice. I counted less than 100 people when we were there. The Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museum were amazing! The only downside is that our Walks of Italy tour guide's English was only so-so. He was difficult to understand at times,... More

Used Walks of Italy for two guided tours. VIP tour of Colosseum and Roman Forum (incl Caesar's Palace) and THE COMPLETE VATICAN TOUR WITH VATICAN MUSEUMS, SISTINE CHAPEL & ST. PETER’S BASILICA. Guides were wonderful in both cases and knowledgeable. Camilla and Claudia respectively. Small groups meant ease of understanding and more personal level interaction. Actually had a person in... And enjoyed them all. Overview of Rome was a great tour for day of arrival (it starts around 5 and involves a good deal of walking), the VIP Colosseum Tour was outstanding - the opportunity to see the Colosseum from the floor was worth it alone - and the Pristine Sistine tour was excellent. One of the best parts: each... More
