Neighborhood: Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

I was looking for a nice place to eat delicious food, a central location with a beautiful atmosphere. someone suggested Agrodolce on Facebook and I am so glad we went there.

The staff was really kind, lovely and friendly. They were happy to help us with the choice of wine and even let us taste a few to choose from. The food was delicious and why would not it, they even do pasta-making classes here. I tried the truffle pasta which was made to perfection. My partner opted for seafood pasta and was equally happy with his choice. The portion was big enough to fill us up. For dessert, we opted for tiramisu and cheesecake. Both were big and looked so good that we did not want to touch them. Once, we did, it was hard to stop till the last spoon.

it's conveniently located on a small street, just a stone's throw away from the Travi fountain. The interior decor is the perfect balance between minimalism and classical elegance.

All I can say is, you may as well put Agrodolce on the list of places to visit while in Rome. But try to book in advance as the place can be jam-packed. It was when we went there.

Came here 2 times in our 4 day visit to Rome. Everything was absolutely incredible. Service was quick and efficient. Staff was very friendly. 10/10 recommend. Would come here for sure if I find myself in Rome again at a later date. Any friends I have traveling here I will definitely direct to this restaurant!

The pasta making class was booked through trip advisor and I was skeptical since there had not been a lot of reviews, however it was the best decision made. The lady who taught the lesson Evelina was hilariously entertaining. The lesson was just as described with a welcome glass of Prosecco, history of pasta, making the pasta and at the end of it,you get to choose any pasta dish of the menu that is part of the deal and have it for free which was brilliant. We also made Tiramisu which I was not a fan but I loved the mascarpone cheese and it was fun to make. The pasta you make you then get go take home to cook.
This was a good experience and I would highly recommend it if you would like to immerse yourself in the Italian life or are looking for an activity to do in the center of Rome.

We really enjoyed this class. It was in a small restaurant in the heart of Rome and we were the only ones in the class at that time. Our chef was great and made it fun! We learned how to make pasta and tiramisu and we are planning to do this at home. The meal that they provided was one of the best that we had in Rome. Highly recommended!

I loved this pasta-making class! I did not see many reviews so I was skeptical at first. My mom and I went by the restaurant the day before to confirm the location. It's right by the Trevi Fountain. Convenient location and our teacher was kind and patient. When we went we were the only two in the class. It felt like we paid for a private session! We decided to try the ravioli after we made our pasta and it was the best meal that we had while in Rome. If I ever make it back to Rome, I'll definitely go for lunch or dinner!!

We were a group of 7 and we all had a great time making the pasta. They were so nice. Then we got to chose a pasta off the menu for lunch. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend doing for the whole family! Was also accommodating to my son who had sever dairy allergies.

The description of the class says that you will learn the secrets of making a carbonara but you do not. You just learn to make pasta dough and put through the machine. The recipes provided are only for the pasta dough, not for shaping the pasta or any pasta type dishes.

It does mention in the class description you do not get to eat your own pasta you make (as the restaurant is operating during the class).

The teacher was very nice.

Dear Isabelle, I’m sorry to read your review, but just to specify, it is not indicated in the description that you will make carbonara. And for a simple reason that carbonara is usually served with a dry pasta, that you can easily buy in the supermarket. It is not served with the fresh pasta, the one that you were preparing. You also had the lunch, a glass of Prosecco and water included, which makes the price of the class very competitive. Also, the restaurant is close till 12:00 and you have a privacy for the most time of the class. So it’s not the reason why you can’t cook your pasta in the kitchen, it’s because Italian sanitary standards do not allow that. If you do that at home you can feel free to cook whatever you want, but if your pasta is not good, clean etc and you feel sick it will be our responsibility. That’s why it’s not allowed by the law to cook it in the kitchen. I hope I made it more clear. Thank you and Kind regards, Maria

Maria was exceptional. There were just 4 of us during this session, so lots of direct interaction and education. Would absolutely recommend to someone without any cooking experience.
