Top bike rental didn’t come up as the obvious online choice, but as soon as I walked in, I knew I was in the hand of professionals, that knew their trade, and had a sizeable fleet of excellently maintained bikes for me to choose from. The front desk service was superbe, I would recommend them unequivocally, also for longer trecks or touring bikes. Akram was kind, and he dedicated time and effort to making sure I got the perfect bike for my trip. He was professional, super competent, he was comprehensive and clear about the contract. Top notch service and customer care. And the bike was a dream to ride through Umbria. Definitely the best address on Rome for al your biking needs!

I hired a touring bike for a day for e20 and thought it was excellent value. Good quality, newish, clean, well equipped (good lights,lock, bell, front suspension) and excellently maintained - I am a regular cyclist and know what to look for. The staff were professional, explained the hire terms clearly in English or Italian, and provided useful, friendly guidance.
Rome is a great city to see by bike especially on days (eg Sunday) with less traffic. You need to be alert: there aren't many cycle tracks, plenty of potholes and drivers make little allowance for cyclists. You can avoid the cars by cycling along the River Tiber, which takes you close to many of the famous sites. Worth the effort!

We had a great experience with top bike! We took the half day small group tour. Check in was smooth and the bikes were top notch! Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. It was a great way to see a lot and get an idea for how Rome is laid out. I recommend taking the tour early during your stay as you might find places you want to add to your itinerary! Biking with a guide gave us the confidence to try biking and scootering on our own later! Made it a lot easier to get around Rome during our stay! I’ve taken bike tours in several cities and Top Bike gets a high rating from me! I would definitely recommend TopBike to any of my friends and family who visit Rome!

This was a great experience--a chance to see and learn so much Roman history, off the beaten path. Our guide customized or tour to our group's pace and our interests. The route, though it went through some of the city/suburbs, felt safe. We biked over 17 miles, covering many historical sites and beautiful green space, but it all felt achievable with a little electric boost. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an active, hands-on experience in Rome.

We had booked for a tour during the weekend of 25th/26th of April which had to be cancelled due to the Corona virus pandemic. The TopBike team were absolutely fantastic with thier quick and efficient response and arrnaging a refund. We very much hope that we will be able to re-book soon and wish the TopBike team all the best during such a difficult time.

We rented bikes for three days for 2 adults and 2 kids (9 & 11) to explore Rome. Very good bikes in excellent condition. Getting around Rome by bike, even with kids, was a wonderful experience. Easy to get around and explore sights and hidden spots for experienced cyclers.

The absolute best way to explore Rome! We spend a weekend in Rome in August, blazing hot, riding an electric bike is no effort, uphill or down, and the breeze while cycling is a lifesaver. We saw so much more than we would have walking. Absolutely recommend renting one of TopBike bikes, great and friendly service, trustworthy, easy booking online etc.

This is the best way to ascend multiple hills with ease, see several neighborhoods in one activity, and get an overview of the city. Our guide gave us insights into the city and was very patient answering our children's questions. We loved doing this on our first full day in Rome.

I have rented a mountain bike for 10 days with Topbike rentals and tours. I have done the Saint Thomas route from Rome to Ortona 400km. The mountain bike was flawless, I didn't have any problems at all even if often I did off-road with gravel. Topbike rentals and tours gave me also repairing tools for the bike just in case plus an helmet, mobile phone holder and a locker.
The staff is great, always available and fast to answer to my messages during the preparation of the trip.
I really advice to use their services. They are very professional.

The Dutch guide was really nice and very good with children, which was important to us. The bikes are great quality and it was great they also have ebikes for smaller kids. Our youngest usually doesn’t fit on the adult ebikes and here he could cycle electric also. He was very happy. All was very well arranged and it was a highlight of our Rome visit!

grazie per questa domanda. I nostri tour in bici variano in itinerario, durata ed inclusioni, e di conseguenza anche nei prezzi. A titolo di esempio, il nostro tour del centro città in lingua italiana (4 ore) costa 39 euro/persona; il nostro tour dell'Appia Antica e il Parco degli Acquedotti di 4,5 ore (sempre in lingua italiana) costa 45 euro/persona. Hi,
Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times now in Italy (outside AND inside - apart from home), but during physical activities, you are allowed not to wear it.
So as far as we are concerned, it means you do not wear the mask while pedaling and you should wear it every time we stop.

You stop for lunch. Also for gelato. We went into the Pantheon, took photos at the Trevi Fountain, photos at The Forum, at the gateway into room, the two parks at either ends of the city, the Spanish Steps, photos at the Vatican, and we went into the oldest church which is in Trastevere. We also went to Piazza Navona. And photos of the Colosseum. There was more too. It is such a great tour

Thank you for your interest in our tours! My apologies for responding in English, but I don't speak Spanish.
We would be happy to accommodate you and your family on a Private Tour with electric-assisted bikes on July 6th.
Unfortunately, during our bike tours, there is no possibility to enter monuments like the Colosseum, as it would cost too much time.
Of course, we can organize a different starting time for your tour. We would recommend a starting time between 8:30 and 10:00 in the morning, or 14:30 and 16:00 in the afternoon, also keeping in mind the temperatures in the middle of the day.

Hi, me and my husband are looking to go on your electric bike ride for 3 hourse. I am pregnant in the 6 months. I don't think it will be a problem for me too go on the bike. But right now I visit the bathroom, allot. Are there any bathroom stops during the trip?

Hi - I think that would be a problem to be honest. My Wife was not well and also thought of doing but would require bathroom at any given time and it was not suitable
There are a few public ones available but being Rome he crowds etc I would say it would not be suitable tour for you
