One of the best experiences under the Moon! Thanks to Roman Empire's professionality the Colosseum looks more interesting and marvelous than the usual. Take a look at the pic and you'll understand ;)

Our story similar to others , we booked through a third party and were then given tickets with Roman Empire tours. Time that you request does not correspond with your time - 2 hours waiting in the office . The workers phone and sms each other and many inconsistencies in their approach. “Wait 1 minute” turns into an hour. Also the adult tickets say children’s rate- it doesn’t feel honest and is chaotic.

We booked skip the line tickets (not a tour) for the colosseum and forum. The day before our tour we a got a notification from trip advisor saying that we had to pick up our tickets in advance and so, since we had some time we walked over to there “office” to get our tickets in advance. In hindsight we should’ve noticed something was wrong when we got there. There were lots of frustrated tourists just standing around waiting and when we finally got to speak to someone she kept turning around (interrupting us too) and talking to her friend next to her and literally texting and calling her friends on her phone!!! She looked at our reservation email on our phone and supposedly on her computer and finally informed us that we actually had to show up at the appointed time to get the tickets the next day and to show up before 9:15 (our tickets were for 9:30). We thought that seemed pretty reasonable and the next morning we were back there at 9 trying to get our tickets and the “staff” (still being rude, interrupting customers to chat with friends or literally check their Instagram feed) told us that the 9:30 slot we booked didn’t exist but we could pay another 30 euros and upgrade to a tour that would leave at the same time!!! We then explained to them that we were there the other day and talked to someone and had her look over our reservation and she told us to come back before 9:15 (the girl was right next to the guy we were taking to now) she completely ignored us even though it was clear she recognized us and this time thought the guy said we could get our tickets at 1:30 instead (in the height of the afternoon heat) or pay to upgrade to a tour and leave now! We demanded a refund which they wouldn’t give but we thankfully got anyways after a very long phone call with Viator and ended up spending the same amount of money (of the tickets not the tour) for a different tour from one of the thousands of guys selling skip the line tours outside the colosseum which worked out just fine. IN CONCLUSION, this company is a total scam, the staff is ridiculously rude, and there hundreds of other options so just don’t use these guys. (If you see that they are rated five star, I hope you will observe that all good reviews are from 2015 or earlier and the recent reviews are all very negative).

We arrived at Roman Empire travel agency at 9.45am (half an hour before the assigned time), only to be told to wait at the side. Our stated skip-the-line time passed with no additional information. When we asked the agency reps, they avoided the questions and told us to wait longer. After *two hours of waiting* they finally told us that they didn't have any tickets for those slots. There were about 15 people in the same situation and none of us got tickets for the stated time. We were told to come back in the afternoon at 2pm, when we came back they told us they only had tickets for 4pm. Our flight was at 7pm so we could not wait until 4pm. They told us to refer to DoTravel for a refund - we requested a refund from DoTravel and have had no response so far. Do not use DoTravel and do not use Roman Empire. Wasted an entire day in Rome.
