It was wonderful. The driver was knowledgeable, professional, entertaining and knew some lovely local, out of the tourist track cafes and lunch spots. It was nice to go into a cafe where no English was spoken. Took some photos from an unusual perspective.

"Best Tours of Italy" vs "Best Tour Of Italy"? - Same? (1 Replies)
Hi everyone! I've been trying to book some transfers with what I thought was Best Tours Of Italy, but Best Tour of Italy is all I can now find? Does anyone know if this is the same company or totally different? If different, is there a review on Best Tours Of Italy on TA? Confusing huh? :-) Thanks, Samantha

Best tour of the Plitvice Lakes (1 Replies)
We will be driving from Zagreb to Zadar and want to stop at the park along the way. On the Plitvice Lakes web site, there are several suggested "tours" to take. I assume this is a combination of walking, boating and train depending on the tour choice. This is not a national park you drive through, correct? Which tour(s) would you suggest for a first timer who can only stay a few hours and must leave in time to get to Zadar in the early evening. We will be traveling on a Monday in mid June so...More

You are correct when are you talking about transport through the park. Driving there is not possible. There are two entrances, 1 and 2, where are parking. If you are coming from Zagreb you will arrive at entrance 1 and you can start your visit at this point. Take the tour C which is the most optimal to see all interesting spots in the park. If some 3 hours of walking is too much for you, than take tour B which allows you to see The great waterfall, lower lakes, boating and return by the train.
