About
RomeOperaConcerts is the only concert season for tourists in Rome run by professional musicians: Giovanni Velluti (piano) and Alessandro Fantini (tenor). Mondays and Fridays with its concerts featuring classics of Italian Opera and Romantic Piano music, RomeOperaConcerts will take you on a musical journey you will treasure. We use piano and voices because in all the main theatres tradition piano is the only substitute of the orchestra. No string quartets and anything like that! Our scheduled concerts will never be canceled whatever the bookings number. In our intimate hall, in the hearth of Rome, the musicians are just feet from the audience: you will feel as in a 19th century private concert. Free Aperitivo immediately after the concert, in which you will have the opportunity to meet the artists. The concerts take place in St. Andrew's of Scotland, in via Venti Settembre 7, right in front of the Ministry of Defense building and a few meters from the Quirinale Palace.

Have never seen live opera music before and this was great. Lovely pleasant atmosphere, a great insight to this type of music and very enjoyable. The performers were incredibly impressive!

Fantastic Opera Concert

The two opera singers (a soprano and a tenor) as well as the pianist were simply top-notch. Not only did they sing the arias, but they also acted them out like in an actual opera. Very professional. At the end of the concert we were given glasses of champagne and dessert. It was well worth the visit and the price was very affordable for such an enjoyable evening.

The Opera selected songs were so pleasant from Puccini , verdi, Chopin and several Napolitan songs. The artists Federica gibilisco a great soprano and Mauro de Santis a vibrant tenor enriched the performance with their humans value.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience at St Andrew’s Scottish Church in Rome. The acoustics were incredible and the experience intimate. Highly recommended. The venue was easy to find. Kim (Australia). 27.10.2023.

It was a fantastic experience with great singers and piano player. The artists are outstanding and the atmosphere is great! We were sceptical if our kids 8 and 10 would enjoy it but they were watching and listening with open eyes and mouth (-;

The only thing I don’t understand is - why is such an event not fully booked out for next twelve months?

One of the best experiences in rom - thank you !!

A delightful evening! Perfect way to spend our last evening in Rome. You don’t need to be an opera fan to enjoy this to the full.
