My wife booked this experience for us and what a an experience. We booked the private tour and we conveniently picked up from a place of our choosing at 6pm and Luca (our tour guide and driver) gave us a very happy and warm welcome while asking us where we had been already during our stay and if where we'd like to go. We were happy to return to some places that we'd seen already and, as he was the expert we were very happy to let him decide where to take us. Luca, was extremely knowledgeable of all the names, history and stories behind all the building we passed and he was extremely funny, it felt like we were riding with a friend! We stopped at lots of locations and without even needing to ask he would kindly offer to take photos during the brief stops at each location. He perfectly time a descent down a windy road during a sunset and the views were absolutely stunning. As day turned to night, we went past the Vatican city and Basilica, high in the hills overlooking all of Rome, where we had a bottle of prosecco on ice. We then carried on with the last bit of our tour and Luca said he would try and see if the Aventine keyhole to save us a trip later and when we got there there was no one else and we had the place to ourselves! Finally, as we told him we wanted to finish in Trastevere for dinner, (nothing booked) he made a call to a friend that owned an excellent restaurant, and drove us right to the door and got us a table last minute.
I would definitely recommend this company and this tour for anyone as we learned so much, and had so much fun, we didn't want the evening to end!
