The area
Address
Neighborhood: Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
How to get there
  • Barberini - Fontana di Trevi • 5 min walk
  • Spagna • 8 min walk

Cancelled our class and then didn’t refund!
Oct 2020 • Couples
We booked a pizza making class for August 2020 with this company. The reservation was re confirmed a couple of days before however the night before we received an email saying it was cancelled as a staff member had Covid. Obviously not ideal given the late notice but understood given the climate with Covid. We were told we’d receive a full refund immediately.
However we never received this refund. We chased via email and received no response, and again by phone numerous times and were completely ignored by this company.
We then filed a query with our bank to try and reclaim these funds (note this was not a small amount of money). After a few months, we were shocked when this company disputed our claim and tried to pretend they had paid the refund which was completely ridiculous. This lengthened the process with the bank and the stress for us in sorting out what should have been a simple refund. Obviously we could show the company ignoring our emails and no refund to the bank but the whole process took over 6 months and caused us a lot of stress.
I would not recommend this company to anyone given the treatment we received. We actually at short notice booked ourself on another cooking class with Igor at ‘Rome with chef’ which was excellent - so definitely go there instead!!

Great gelato-making class
Jan 2020 • Family
We and our two children (ages 8 and 9) had a lot of fun learning from Francisco how to make gelato. It was a great way to end our trip to Rome!

Professional cooking experience
Jan 2020 • Family
We booked a private class on New Years Day and had a wonderful experience. Chef Francesco B. was very informative and gave us not only the recipe but the science behind the recipe. They were accommodating to our dietary needs and menu preferences. The class is conveniently located near the Trevi Fountain in a professional setting. We enjoyed making the ravioli and eggplant Parmesan and gelato. I would highly recommend this experience while in Rome.

Best cooking g class
Dec 2019 • Couples
Chef gave me and my wife more than we ever could have expected when we to his pasta making class. He gave the science of cooking pasta and his passion for his art and skill was evident every step of the way. Hr was very encouraging let you make small mistakes that I will never make again to improve the quality of the pasta you make. He provided a beautiful cooking environment with great wine and ambiance.
Now the taste of the pasta we made. Was hands down the best I ever had. The Tiramisu was the the best I ever had and knowing the simplicity in ingredients easily let me reproduce back home.
When ever I return to Rome I will be definately take another class with Chef.

A must!
Highly recommend for couples, friends and families even with young children. The chef was very nice and speaks good english. You make the tiramisu and pasta and drink wine as you please. You should definitely not miss out on this. Worth every euro.

A unique experience in the heart of Rome
Oct 2019
What to do in Rome during the holidays? Well, I think that Italian cooking classes in Rome is the most extraordinary place we could find. The pizza and gelato lesson is very well prepared, with easy explanations, the pizza was the best ever we ate in Rome made with two types of flour, and the typical form of the "pizza alla pala". The gelato was the thing that surprised us the most. Francesco is an excellent teacher, his skill is impressive. I will definitely come back with my family.

A day to remember
Aug 2019
We love Italian food, and we love to cook. This class was perfect! We learned so much in so little time while having a great time. Tiramisu from scratch, ravioli, chiara (square spaghetti), ceccio e pepe sauce, and carbonara sauce. We have since tried at home with success.
