Vivicos International Travel put this tour together and we were so lucky to have archeologist, Azzurra Mancini, who was very passionate with her presentation and extremely knowledgeable making this an excellent experience . We spent the afternoon on a 3 hour tour with a really helpful and knowledgeable tour guide! Skip the line is the way to go as it saved is queuing in the heat. When we entered the colosseum, Roman forum and pallentine hill the experience...More

First of all, skip-the-line is the way to go. Our group basically walked straight into the arena floor of the Colosseum, instead of waiting in the long lines that were winding far from the entrance. Our guide was also very informative. Latizia (sp?) knew a...More

I don't know why an English speaking tour can't have someone who speaks English! Our tour guide, Sam, was from Italy. His accent was too thick to understand. "How you say...?" was what we were frequently asked. It was also not a very informative tour....More

If you want to know every bit of detail about the colosseum and forum, then skip the line and go with a tour group, and I mean every minuta. The colosseum, the forum and palatine hill is fantastic, but the pertinent information is provided to...More

We began our tour with Manuel showing us around the Colosseum. He was informative, enthusiastic, warm, friendly and 5 STAR! We certainly managed to skip the huge queues and crowds waiting to enter and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However for the second part of the...More

We had Tony take us round, very knowledgeable man and made the tour interesting and memorable. We had the first tour at 8.30, would deftintly recommend going early. As it’s a lot quieter.
