Colosseum Virtual Tour (with a true guide of Rome talking live)

Real Tour vs Virtual Tour?

We know, live experiences are always great but...
usually a real guided tour of the Colosseum in Rome lasts 1 hour. During the tour you waste time:
-waiting in line to enter the monument
-at the security check
-for a toilet break
-for pictures time
-walking time from a section to another

You clearly spend most of your time in the Colosseum doing other things than understanding the Colosseum!

Following our online Virtual tour:
- you can have a 75 minutes full-immersion into the history of Rome, the Colosseum, the gladiators fights
- your guide talks live!
- you skip all the annoying waste of time of a real group tour
- you can ask questions to the guide during the tour
- you can understand the Colosseum from a 360° perspective, ready to get there for real as soon as you'll be able to travel to Italy
- the guide can integrate his talk with hundreds of digital reconstructions, satellite views, photos of details that are impossible to use during a real tour

I have been to Rome over 30 times, taken tours on every trip. This was the best I ever had. Simone loves his work and has the ability to organize a tour that imparts more knowledge than you could ever expect. Just amazing. Do not miss this tour.

We travel a lot and do a lot of tours with private guides. Simone is the best! We have done 4 tours with him and hope to do more!!! The whole family (our 13 year old son and grandpa) were fascinated by Simone’s story telling. Not only you get to learn about the sights you are visiting but you also get the context about them not just a list of facts and that submerges you into the historical setting. Simone is an archeologist, has a PhD from Oxford and is from Rome. His English is impeccable and his knowledge is endless!!!

Simone was a great tour guide for our tour through the Vatican. He was recommended by my college and he did not disappoint. I was on business trip in Rome and I decide to spend my free afternoon on Vatican tour with my colleagues. Good decision. He is full of knowledge and made our tour very worthwhile. Price was reasonable as well. We were extremely happy with our experience. Although the tour was quite long, he was very amusing and it was very easy to follow him. I would not have had the same experience for Rome without booking a guide for the Vatican. Highlight of our Rome trip! Irena

We loved our Underground Tour of Rome! It was fascinating to learn how the buildings were built and learn about the architecture surrounding us. Not only is Simone is incredibly knowledgeable, but he was extremely patient with our young son who asked many, many questions. I highly recommend this tour for anyone with a curiosity about the history of Rome and a desire to get to the bottom of things!

Of the dozens of private tours I have taken in my life while travelling never has 1 been so enlightening, so informative as the 4 hours my partner Jane and I spent with Simone. We didn't just see things, we learned things. Simone was the highlight of our wonderful trip. If you are considering taking a part of your vacation and learning more about ancient Rome, spending 4 hours with Simone will be a terrific decision!
