My friends and I had the pleasure of contracting with Miles and Miles Tour Company when we visited Italy in September 2019. We had three full day tours (a full day tour of Rome and the Vatican, a tour to the Umbria Region, and a tour to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast). We also booked three transfers (from airport to hotel, hotel to cruise ship, and from cruise ship to airport). We absolutely LOVED this company and everyone we met who works for them! We were always greeted punctually and with a smile. Everything went like clockwork, we couldn’t have asked for more. It seemed as if nothing was to much trouble for them to help make our experience the best ever! This company was recommended to me by a friend of mine, and I am so glad I took her advice! In turn, I highly recommend this company to everyone. You will not be disappointed! Prior to taking the actual tours, even booking them via email was a great experience. Their responses were prompt, friendly, polite, and professional. Thank you Miles and Miles for helping to make our trip one of a lifetime!

Delightful driver/tour guide Luca picked up four of us (two couples) from the Civitavecchia cruise terminal for a full day visit to Rome. One of us used a walker or wheelchair to get around and the site to site transportation was critical. We traveled in a very comfortable van, while Luca gave us a great deal of information about Rome and the sites we visited. He did this in a conversational way so we never felt that we were being lectured or given a rote spiel. Sometimes he had pictures or other illustrations to help us understand the history and what we were seeing. He took us to an overlook where we were all alone with a great view of the coliseum and the crowds below. We also stopped at the Pantheon, where he directed us to a little coffee shop where we could grab an espresso and visit restrooms. We were able to go into sites and visit while he parked and/or moved the van as necessary. We had booked a Vatican tour as well, and our guide for this was another wonderful guide - Nadia. The two of them arranged the meet-up, so we never had to wonder where or how to meet. This tour was on the Saturday before Easter Sunday, so the crowds were enormous (I would never recommend this timing). Miles and Miles purchased our Vatican tickets ahead, and Nadia managed to guide our mobility-challenged party to all the right entrances in a large, confusing, and very crowded place. Sometimes I felt as though she was "parting the red sea" to get us through the crowds. We absolutely could not have done this on our own. And she did this with unfailing good humor and grace - sharing information to make our visit more meaningful. After the Vatican tour, she delivered us back to Luca and his waiting van and he offered to arrange lunch at a nearby restaurant. We gladly accepted and paid (I think 20 euro each) for an all-inclusive family style lunch of several kinds of pasta, grilled vegetables, antipasto, house wine, and dessert. The food was good (although not the best we had in Italy) and the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing - a great break after the hectic crowds. Luca checked on us during lunch and was ready to go again when we finished. We had heard of a little leather goods place we wanted to visit and he researched the location for us and altered his agenda to take us there. His excellent driving through the crazy Rome streets was reassuring. At the end of a very busy day, he knew just when to leave Rome to get us back to our ship with plenty of time for the 6 PM departure. I don't know if all the guides with Miles and Miles are like this, but Luca and Nadia were the best we had of several private guides during our trip. It was more like being shown around Rome by friends who were natives. We would ask for them again by name if we are in the area again and are more likely to look for Miles and Miles tours in other locations. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

They are the best service in Italy. They are professional, punctual, flexible and knowledgeable. We used them from Venice to Montepulciano, Montepulciano to Positano, Sorrento to Herculean and then on to Rome. We travel with 2-3 additional couples. Their vehicles are clean, up to date and spacious. We have used them over the years and they never disappoint. Highly recommend them. Irene and Lane

This is my 9th Miles & Miles experience over the course of several years and the first one outside Italy. Pavel and Ester were amazing guides for Barcelona and I have been absolutely thrilled with the personal service from them (and every other guide on all private tours I have booked with the Miles & Miles team). If in doubt, book them - I can’t recommend Francesco Miglio and his team highly enough. 💛

We booked 3 private tours with Mile & Miles Tour Company at. 1. Roman Archaeological Tour - where we toured the Coliseum and Roman Forum. We got to skip the long lines and basically just walk right in. This was a 3 hour walking tour and we highly recommend it. Our guide was Marco and he was very knowledgeable, funny and interesting. He was also super helpful to give us great recommendations for dinner locations. 2. Vatican Tour - also done by Marco (this is a combined tour), same as above. Skipped the long lines that the regular tourists were standing in and walked right in. Again Marco was very knowledgable, funny and interesting explaining all the uniqueness of Vatican City. 3. Countryside Village Tour - this tour was done by Luka and was fantastic as well. We toured the Catacombs which was very interesting and something that should be done. We later visited a couple of smaller villages outside rome and then had a fabulous wine tasting and lunch at a restaurant overlooking the volcanic lake and then toured their wine cellar with more than 38000 bottles of wine. Wine bottles were autographed by lots of celebs who had visited the restaruant (Keanu Reeves, Quinton Terrintino (sp), Bill Gates etc. Super cool. 4. Pompei, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello tour - our final tour began in Sorrento where our tour guide (Pepe) took us to Pompei where we met up with Louisa who toured us through Pompei. What a fabulous sight to see. It really made it feel real as you walk through the buildings, houses and businesses that existing in Pompei prior to the volcano eruption. Louisa was a fabulous guide and really explained what happened there. Pepe then adjusted our tour slightly to see Ravello, and Amalfi and recommended a fabulous restaurant for us to dine overlooking the sea. Amazing. Miles & Miles really went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time in Rome and the Amalfi Coast. THANK YOU
