A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

Walking into the my Italians class, we did not know what to expect. But soon after, we couldn't help but noticed the passion and the depth of the instructor who was able to make the class as informative and as fun as it could be. For my girlfriend and I, we never thought about what kind of wine we should... More

What a wonderful time at Vino Roma! Found this place through Rick Steves' travel guide and definitely was not disappointed. Hande walked us through 6 different wines from different regions of Italy, from the north to Sicily. She explained the history of wine growing throughout the country, how to taste, what to look for in wine, and answered all our... More

We were nervous about this as it iwas our first wine tasting and we didn't know what to expect. We love wine and also cheese, so attended the wine & cheese dinner, in case we were above our level for the wine part.... we needn't have worried! The sommelier, a very nice woman, made it extremely easy for us (there... More

Yesterday we visited Vino Roma and was greeted by Hande herself and she took us through a tour of Italian wines. It was a great experience and we learned a great deal about how to taste and what is currently going on in the Italian wine world. We tasted 4 different whites where one was "orange" and 2 reds. All... More

Was together With my girlfriend in Rome for a week. What better Place to try wine-tasting than Italy? :) We thought we har walked to the wrong place, cause it didn't seam like any businesses were located in the area. Once inside we were taken care of in the best way from beginning to end. The knowledge and way to... More

A fantastic introduction to both Italian wines and wine tasting itself. Very laid back but also informative. And our sommelier (Maurizio) really let the conversation flow to all parts of Italian culture that we wanted it to. A great couple of hours!

We took this tour with friends, two of whom are chefs. We all couldn't believe the in-depth knowledge Hande has about the food world in general (not just italy) and how she was able to show us specific Roman things in particular. I do not want to give away all the stops we had (she customizes the tour according to... More

This was a tasting that met and exceeded our expectations. One in our group is a teacher and she was amazed by the didactic aspect of the tasting especially. We all loved the wines (small producers, all organic, some biodynamic), the discussions around them. Hande the owner is an amazing woman, we would go back anytime.

This was so different than any other wine tastings we have done in the US. very educational, great somm, fun too. Amazing cool space (a respite from the heat!). I really understood some stuff about wine for the first time ever (though i have been a wine drinker for a long time now). Do not miss!
