My friend found Vino Roma on Trip Advisor and told me about it. My husband and I went with our 2 teenage sons. It was just the 4 of us and we all had a great experience. We learned a lot and loved everything we tried. She had plenty of cheese, bread and meats for all of us. For one... More

My visit to Vino Roma was a surprise birthday gift from my wife so I had no idea what to expect. From the first, as we were ushered inside by our amiable host, Hande, we had a great time. Along with the other participants we enjoyed five excellent wines, the first accompanied by a selection of meats and the others... More

My husband and I did the Italian wine tasting with Vino Roma on our honeymoon. The tasting ended up being semi private as there was only 2 other people. We tasted 7 different Italian wines and then has some champagne to celebrate our honeymoon. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable.

I went to Vino Roma in May as I was looking for something I could do as a single traveller. There was a couple also attending and so we had a lovely intimate class. The couple had wine tasted before whereas I had never had a lesson before. I didn't feel in any way left out, I was encouraged to... More

We did the wine tasting with cheese last May and it was excellent. Although it has taken me a year to write thisreview I have not stopped talking about our experience and have referred folks who have equally enjoyed it. We learned so much and in our trip this year to another country we found we were using again what... More

I am lucky enough to live in Rome and have been to Vino Roma 8 times (with more to come!). Every time I have a visitor (and sometimes when I don't), we go. It is always fun, I always learn something new and love Hande's commitment to sharing her knowledge of wine. The "My Italians" is great, a little more... More

Hande Leimer, a most noted sommelier in Rome will educate you in the ins and outs of Italian wines while highly entertaining you with delicious wines and food pairings! We visited Vino Roma which is near the Coliseum and joined a myriad of folks from other countries. Hande and her husband Theo presented a multilingual experience we will never forget.... More

We enjoyed another wonderful tour of Italian wines paired with wine enhancing foods. We've enjoyed several of Hande's wine tasting evenings and always sign up for another one when we are in Rome. Next trip we'll try yet another one. Love trying the variety of Italian wines as we usually during California wines. Give it a try!!

My husband and I visited Vino Roma on our honeymoon. My favorite part was how detailed our sommelier was about the reasons behind differences in wine tastes. I had been to a wine tasting event on a cruise, but I learned *so* much more at Vino Roma. Even my husband, who prefers beer to wine, really enjoyed himself!
