The tour guide was excellent. She navigated us skillfully though the crowd and was always friendly and competent. By her I learned a lot of new things concerning the history of art und the history of the Vatican state in general. She was a good story teller and therefore the tour never was boring.

We did the colloseum, palatine hill and forum tour. Convenient meeting place and dry knowledgeable tour guide. He did a great job in advance telling us what to expect and the nature of what it would be inside….crowded, some uneven walking surfaces, etc. once inside he gave the right amount of information and knew exactly which places to take us to and things of interest. Same with Palatine Hill and Forum. We had a difficult family in our group keeping them engaged and moving and he handled it very professionally.

Tour guide was nice but we had a hard time understanding her but the mask didn’t help. We still had to stand in line to get into the Vatican. We thought it was the “skip the line” but it wasn’t. We could have done it on our own with a guide whispere. Personally, I think it was too expensive for what we got.

Thank you for visiting the Vatican Museums on our tour. We always use the entrance reserved for tour operators and have the skip the line entrance reservation, but occasionally there may be a small line for the metal detectors which cannot be avoided due to security reasons. I have chacked on booking.com a Colosseum tour with an english guide tour.
When start We realized that the tour's language is italian. I signed it to the guide person who called the 'Rome Your Way' tours. The very odious lady on the phone from' Rome your way tours' speak loud and angry when i asked why is not a guide in english language because i checked the tour with english guide. And the end of the call she said 'vaffanculo ' and hanged up the phone. They did not pay back my money so we went to tour in italian language guide. The guide person was very kindly and speak few words in english for us. She was good.
The lady on the phone was not!!!

Had a tour scheduled for 8:30 am. No one showed up to guide the tour. There were several people there in the same situation. Tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. Would never would recommend this company to anyone. Hopefully we can get our money back.

The tour went to Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este. It was an excellent tour but was made even better by our tour guide Maria Teresa. If you love gardens and Roman history, this is the tour for you.

This was the first tour we’ve taken on our trip and it was fantastic! Elizabeth our tour guide knew everything and answered all our questions without hesitation. Really cool experience! Highly advise taking the tour.

We accidentally booked onto the Spanish evening tour, but Janette quickly helped us sort out being moved onto her tour.
The tour was amazing, and so was our guide. She taught about both the history of the sites and the modern culture in each area, as well as filling the tour with humour.
She managed the keep the tour at a reasonable pace for everyone with a group that ranged from their early 20s to late 70s/80s. She even gave is advice about our stays in the city, including when to visit sites and great spot to enjoy local cuisine.
Would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone considering it.

All you have to do is walk to the tour office (next to Termini station). You're taken on a comfortable, mini-bus to Hadrian's villa where you spend a couple of hours being guided around this vast ancient site. You can only get a feel of the place before you head of to Tivoli for lunch (this is included in the tour price and was surprisingly good - two set courses plus water and wine; with desert and coffee available for a small supplement). You then spend the afternoon at Villa d'Este - fantastic water features before leaving at around 4.00 p.m. to return to Rome. Good value as it includes admission tickets plus lunch plus guide (he was very good - informative and friendly)

This company canceled the tour 2 days before it was Originally scheduled. They did not give us an explanation as to why it was canceled. They have not responsed with an email or money return. I was very disappointed.

I would like to know exactly how strenuous is the Tivoli trip with respect to walking up hills or stairs?

I would say moderately strenuous, mainly because of the gardens at Villa d'Estes. Hadrian's Villa is on a hilltop which you access by walking up a paved road. Our tour stopped near the top of the hill for a brief history and overview of the villa. The rest of that tour was fairly easy. The tour of Villa d'Estes is more strenuous. The villa is situated on the hillside and the gardens go down from it. You can choose how far down you go, but the only way back to the villa is up the hill, which includes a lot of steps. Once you are back at the villa, there is an elevator which will take you from the terrace level to the exit level, but climbing back from the bottom of the gardens is challenging. Our guide offered to let us wander the gardens at our leisure and meet back at the terrace later. That gave people who needed more time to navigate the hillside the opportunity to do so at their own pace.

Hello, I booked a 1:45 English tour for "Colosseum and Ancient Rome Small-Group Walking Tour Including Pantheon and Piazza Navona" on October 8th. I can't seem to find the address where the tour will be meeting. The departure point is simply listed as "Central Rome". Is it possible for me to get an exact address? Thanks so much!

The office is on the street to the right of the rail station Termini but I would think that a coliseum tour would meet at the coliseum. Call the number on the voucher or email them. They answer very quickly.
