We watched Italy vs Ireland in the sin nations, we were heading to Rome anyway and decided to get tickets last minute. It was really easy to get to the stadium, you can get 24hr, 48hr and 72hr tickets that let you on all public...More

We visited the Studio Olimpico to watch Italy play Wales in early February. It was a glorious sunny day and we decided to walk there along the banks of the Tiber, stopping for some drinks and lunch on the way. It was a late kick--off...More

I visited the Stadio Olimpico for the Italy v Ireland 6 Nations match. The match itself wasn't great, but the stadium was great. Looked like great views of the pitch from all sides. And the popcorn vending was a nice touch

Enough folk have written up their experience - so I will keep this short - stunning building and grounds - overwhelmingly large stadium that reverberates with passionate italian fans. a great experience - even if you do not follow football. Also of note the tickets...More

Lovely venue and so pretty to walk around with statues everywhere. Good security and good seats. We went for the six nations. Bar abit limited but not a problem. My only issue was the toilets...women’s had no seats, covered in urine and were very smelly....More

I was a bit concerned about our planned visit to the stadium due to all the negative comments I read. The stadium is clean, toilets clean and accesable. The seats were well maintained. The athmosphere was incredible and I loved the anthems. They walk around...More

We bought tickets on Stubhub about 5 months before the game. The match wasn’t actually sold out surprisingly, there was a whole section not used at all and quite a few spaces spread around. The stadium itself is good, quite a few bars & loos....More

Lovely atmosphere as usual at Stadio Olimpico, 3 goals and a very good goalkeeper who saved the day for the team. I will be back!

Took in a Roma match at the Stadio Olimpico when we were in town. We had bought the tickets online, and printed them off before travelling. Area around the stadium doesn't have hundreds of places to eat, but food stalls on the way to the...More

At the recent Ireland v Italy 6 nations match. Not Ireland's best effort but the Stadium was easily accessed by electric bus 2, Piazza del Popolo to Manchini. €1.50 one way & about 5-10 minute walk. The mass exit from the Stadium was well organised.

Sit on the ends if you are a super fan, but otherwise pick a seat on the shady side and a bit higher up (the pitch is surrounded by a track so being down low does not help your view).

Yes you can, but you will be directed to security desk first, for additional inspection. Don't take any bottles with you.
