A must for any soccer fan

Visited the Stadio Olimpico in December 2015, and was lucky enough to see Lazio play Juventus. Beautiful stadium.

Arrived in Rome today and on a whim, decided to try and go to a soccer (football) game. Used the Viagogo website (after an earlier review here!) and it worked perfectly. Within an hour we had confined seats for a match between Lasio and Juventus. Tickets were pricey - nearly €300 for two. Security getting into the stadium is tight... More

A trip to a top Italian football match is a great cultural and football experience for any visitor to Italy. Our trip however, was ruined by Italian bureaucracy where my wife was banned from entering the Olympico Stadium in Rome. On a family trip with 4 generations of us to Italy, and being football fans, I thought it would be... More

We were here for an AS Roma game while our city trip in Rome. Crouded because it was an important game, people came from all over the places, but you never had the feeling that you are trapped. Good organised entrances and especially exits, good tram and bus lines around the place. Quite a lot of police and controles but everything was... More

The Olympic Stadium from the 1960 Olympics is not used for football by SS Lazio and AS Roma so you can't go inside the stadium apart from on a match day, with a ticket. But we just visited the outside. I'm really pleased we went, because I love things Olympic, but there isn't much to see. There are mosaics from... More

Passing next to the stadium on sunny day, very nice surrounding, huge ancient roman statues around.. The stadium is very big and exciting as expected, but you never expect that you'll find beautiful masterpieces of art around, as well as some marks from war history! Recommendation for everybody..

Located within the Foro Italico sports complex it’s the main and largest sports facility in Rome. We went there for a concert, what a great atmosphere! Have to say everything was very well organised, seating easy to find (although not much leg room!). Most of the seating area is covered. Within the complex there are bars serving food and also... The stadium is unbelievable, must visit. The condition of the stadium is very well kept and the tour around the stadium feels like reliving history. Very nice English speaking tour, access all around the stadium. It was better than visiting the Vatican since I'm a soccer fan. Loved it. I was loving the trees and scenery inside/outside of the stadium.... More

Being a cup final the atmosphere was amazing. Stewards were helpful in helping find our seats. Food and beverage was constantly bought over to us which meant we didn't have to leave our seats during the game.
