The walk down to the 'beach' is a taste of more to come. The verge on the rhs is littered with hundreds of wipes and nappies that have failed to decompose. Once at the bottom, there is a bar that was staffed by the ignorant blokes described in other reviews. The owner appears a very bitter man who must have sunk his life savings into buying the place based on the 'beaches' appearance in some old fim and has found it to be a foolhardy investment. We arrived late in the afternoon and found the experience entirely baffling. The beach is soo narrow with a crumbling cliff backdrop it appeared unsafe. The water was crammed with small boats whose passengers were still on board, and as it is not a spectacular location by any means so their presence there was baffling. It really is a total mystery why anyone would wish to spend any time here. We had one drink and left never to return.

Very nice beach, you can get there easily even with the bus that leaves from the port. The beach is in the shade until late morning and there are stones to enter the water. Large free beach to prefer to the establishment. Quite rude Owner, kind only to the “vips” who sometimes show up at his place and disrespectful instead of customers or those who would like to be.

Small and disorganized beach. Arrogant and unavailable manager even though we arrived at 9.15 in the morning (suggested by him days before) thinking of finding good solutions but according to him everything was already booked. Rudely urged us to go elsewhere since we were looking for the sun (shade until 11.30) . €35 two sunbeds and umbrella with very little distancing. Shower payment €1 while in other establishments free. Unpleasant experience despite the strategic location.

Beautiful sea point for three consecutive days we attended the "postman's beach "! Carlo receives us ... kindly takes us to our umbrella, the sea is beautiful, the atmosphere surrounds us like in a movie! Today was the last day..... hello Carlo I hope to find you again on my next visit to the beautiful island of Procida!!

We chose lido Annamaria for our first visit to Procida and were super satisfied. Carlo, the Owner, is a wonderful person contrary to what you read. Friendly and helpful! We spent a Sunday relaxing and spectacular sea. We will definitely return! Thank you Carlo 😊❤️

Beautiful beach and rock formations along the coastline with grottoes to explore. The volcanic rock you can find on the shore is light as a feather. Three sections to the beach: the managed area with beach chairs, umbrellas, snack bar and portable toilets; down at the end is a free beach; and turn right at the entrance to the beach at the seawall and take a short walk along the rocks and through the bushes to find a more private beach and grottoes.

Romantic and secluded beach (in October). Perfect for safe swimming (well protected cove). Snack bar was open on a Saturday in mid-October all day but didn't offer espresso, wine or beer - mainly ice cream and soft drinks for the younger set.

rocky formations and gentle waves; easy place to wade or swim. I guess other reviewers don't realize the entire Island is volanic so the sand is dark, volanic sand. Snack bar may or may not be open and you can get chairs and umbrellas.

Went to this beach today. Id give it zero stars if I could. What a disappointment after spending a lovely beach day elsewhere on Procida. The water was not clean, with debris in the water; after paying 10euro each for entry which included an old stained beach chair and umbrella, we were told to go in to a dark closet with no light or windows to change our clothing. When we left and thought we would use the shower before changing again, there was another 1euro fee. Deciding to use the ladies restroom to change instead of the closet, the bathroom was worse. No tissue, and dirty...with signs all over the walls in Italian, which I interpreted to say no paper in the toilet. Well, no problem there, none was provided. When two friends joined us on the beach to get in the water for five minutes, the manager ran over demanding 20 more Euro, as he shouted at us—4 people, obligated for four chairs. Just really rude, nasty...go elsewhere.

We originally booked into a B&B for a week, extended for 3 nights, now in another B&B for a week. Great beach, Lido plus free swimming.

Bonjour,
Pourriez-vous me dire si l'accès aux plages de Procida est payant ?
Merci.
Written August 9, 2016
Hi, you have both options, in the same space you can either pay for a deck chair or bring your own towel. Saludos!

Salve da Pozzuoli più economico...una volta arrivati a Procida ci sono sia autobus che taxi appena arrivati al porto...☺️

It is impressive how the owner responds to every customer's bad comment in such a defensive way. Of course I would like to hear both sides of the story but I have never read an owner responding in such a defensive way, here in USA we apologize and try to make things comfortable for our customers so they come back and we make $ but this owner tells the client to stay home and he does not need them, wow what kind of business is he running? I am wondering if he makes any $? Hopefully if I ever visit this place I never encounter bad service like the one these tourists report.
