You can come to the beach by free bus from the main port. The beach is big and not crowded, even we've visited it in August. There are free parts of the beach and paid parts (30-40 euros for two chairs and parasol). The sea is clean and warm and very shallow in first 20-30 meters from the beach.

West facing beach has clear water, low surf, and (almost) consistently a west wind. Water is clean and in the visits we have had there have not seen much in the way of seaweed or scum. Beach is clean with little to no trash that washes up (unlike some of the south / east facing beaches on the island). There are paid sections and free sections of the beach, restaurants, concession stands, and bathrooms. After visiting all of the beaches on the island, this is by far our favorite. It is also accessible by the island bus lines!

Clean bathtub warm water (June) on volcanic (blackish) sand that was perfectly placed for some of the best restaurants and bars on the island. Perfect for kids as it stays shallow for quite a distance and you can dive for shade at the great beach front restaurants or head up the wooden steps at the end of the beach for the heavenly solarium where you can rinse of in their showers and enjoy killer cocktails. It's not really a party areas which suited us, but you can certainly enjoy a late night meal here when you've finished with the beach.

Very clean water; perfect for older folks and kids. Swallow areas pretty far out from the beach and an excellent place to swim. Very little current, small waves. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for rent along with several places to get drinks or something to eat. Scenic beach with a view of the protected island.

I came here from Naples where it is almost impossible to find nice place to swim... and I was amazed! Clean beach, sand, clear and calm water, the view... so nice! In the middle of Septemeber there was almost noone.. maybe that is also the reason why a enjoyed a lot.

You can reach it on foot easily from the port... it takes like 40 min.

Lovely long secluded beach with one lovely restaurant called Girone that overlooks it. Wash the sand off your feet just inside the beach door of the restaurant! Definitely enjoy a great pasta seafood lunch, espresso and limoncella. They gave us a complementary anise and orange versions of limoncella as well, at the counter when we paid our bill as a kindness. At the end of the beach but a short walk along sidewalk is another marina with lovely sailboats of all sorts.

Wonderful beach with a few Lidos. The perfect place to chill in quiet Procida. There is a beautiful view of the bridge that takes you to a little island off Procida.

This was a quiet and peaceful part of Procida Island and a long walk down to the Marina. The harbor was pleasant with a Marina and a number of good looking restaurants. There were some interesting houses and yards full of lemon trees on the way. Worth the walk.
