The road has different size and shape buildings which were used to house the tombs of important people. They are in various stages of ruins, but they must have been quite impressive as entered the town.

The Pompeii ruins has streets with recovered buildings and homes that you can step inside to see the way the Pompeii residents lived and worked. It's amazing to walk the paths these ancient people used.
