We booked the tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum and it was absolutely incredible. Lello’s knowledge of both locations was second to none and he clearly has a true passion for the topic. We had a brilliant day and would definitely book further tours with Lello.

We had a private tour of the spectacular ancient city of Pompei with the charismatic Lelo. He displayed fantastic knowledge of the huge site and took us on a journey through time to give us a taste of the lives of the people of the tragic city with his unique theatrical delivery that kept us engaged and enthralled throughout. We were blessed to have have been able to explore this city with such low numbers of tourists (much to Lelo's dismay). Highly recommended visiting the city and if so, with the huge character that is Lelo.

First of all if you are still thinking of visiting Italy, Naples or Pompeii, stop thinking about it and just go. Quite apart from being an extraordinary place, Italy needs visitors and this part of Italy absolutely depends on it. Second, if you have a mind to visit Pompeii, Herculanaeum, Naples or really anywhere in Campania, please take a tour with Lello. It is not really your standard guided tour. This is a full immersion into life in this part of Italy 2,000 years ago from someone who has not just a wonderful engaging character, but a desire to leave every visitor with the same sense of passion that he has. I cannot really say more. Lello thank you from bringing the events of 79AD to life for us. We will not forget our day with you. From Julian and Ana Rosa.

If you haven't been to Pompeii before it does cover quite a large area - and having a guide really helps you to make the most of your visit. Our guide was great, he had a real passion for the place. He created a vivid picture of what life was like in Pompeii before the volcanic eruption and this helped us to really appreciate what we were looking at. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
