Carmen was a very competent, knowledgeable & friendly guide for our 2-hour walking tour of Naples. She mixed interesting facts about the city's history with great anecdotes about the modern day. I would definitely recommend this tour & Carmen for a great snapshot of Naples on foot

Great city tour by knowledgable guide

Walking around Naples is an adventure and a challenge! Our very nice guide Carmen leaded us safely through the city centre and provided us with historical facts and inside info. With lots of historical and local knowledge and entertainment she served us a full 2 hr Napoli experience that I can only recommend to anyone who wants to discover Naples and all its sights. Did I say recommended? Yes!

Secrets we would have never found!

Very interesting facts that you would never get on another trip. We did a tour of the old town. The guide always waited until everybody was gathered before explaining things. There was so much that you would never have found by yourself. There was one amazing highlight but I won’t divulge what it is, in case you are not aware of it’s existence like us! We were on a cruise and I choose this because cruise trips are so expensive and tend to be rushed. Tip: on the way to the meeting place go slightly further and stick to main streets, some side streets are a bit scary.

Literally the best of Naples.

Today we went on the Best of Naples tour. Unfortunately, we forgot our guide's name but she was amazing. We don't know how she did it, but the route we went on was made so that we didn't even feel the 35 C heat. We recommend going on the tour right after arriving in Naples because you're given many good ideas for what to do. It will also help you understand and fall in love with the city.

Nice tour with a local guide :)

We did the Best of Naples walking tour, which was a perfect start in Naples. Sara, our local tour guide, gave us a good insight in local history, while visiting the most important sights in downtown Naples during the 2 hours. It was easy to book, we just had to show up at the meeting point and enjoy the tour. It was much more fun listening to a local guide showing us her beloved city than just reading the information in a guidebook. Highly recommended!! Thank you for the great experience :-)

A great introduction to Historical Naples

A lovely walk with our Guide, Carmen, through some of the many historical sites in Naples. Carmen had a wealth of local information which she generously shared with us .
Naples can be so overwhelming with the noise and activity, which gives it such vibrancy, so to have an experienced native to the city guiding you is wonderful. As a sole visitor this tour ,not only introduced me to many of the sites, but helped me identify many places of interest to return to and helped identify focal areas to prevent getting lost & going around in circles!
I would certainly recommend this walking tour..

Napoli and Sara…that’s amore

Sara was an excellent guide. She is informative, entertaining, and delightful. We learned so much about this beautiful city and Sara gave us insights that you cannot find anywhere. It is her personal touch that made the two hours feel like 20 minutes.

Very professional guided tour

Very professional guided tour in English. I attended with a colleague. The guide, Carmen, highlighted some of the main attractions of the city. She gave also some hints of history, art and culture - pizza, Pulcinella, commedia dell'arte, links between Spain and Naples...
I would suggest to take the tour the first day of your holiday, so you can decide later on which monuments to visit, such as the Archeological Museum, the Art Gallery, the Castle, the Church of Santa Chiara, etc. The explanation is very structured.
Finally, Carmen gave also very good advice in relation to restaurants...

For real there’s no best tour than this one

Never been on such a great tour. Sara was great, showed us around and gave us historic background about the places we were visiting. No one ever got me so interested into South Italian culture - how we can see different influences around the city. Also few recommendations about street food was a great addition.

Pet-friendly tours!

My boyfriend, our dog Alfonso, and I did the Best of Naples and the Old Town tour with Silvia and Sara. Both girls had unique styles and gave great tours. Sara was more historical and gave lots of details about the city's history. I liked how both tours were adapted to having an animal with you. You don't enter in any churches or places where they are not allowed. The meeting areas are in convenient places.
I recommend doing both tours to give you an idea of Napoli's history.
