A small, busy and vibrant market which is the essence of Naples. There’s plenty of fish, meat, fruit and vegetables for sale and a lot of cafes which surround the area. Well worth a visit.

This has everything: fish, produce, usual socks and other unneeded things, but mainly you can get here pretty much anything or just have a nice walk around.

Do not go too late in the day, or you will miss out on all the colour and activities and street food. The vegetable stalls are large, filled with an amazing range of great looking fruits and vegetables. You need to queue up and wait for your turn. Be ready with the essential Italian words as it is unlikely much English will be spoken here. Enjoyed ogling at the fish shops, DIY and garment stalls. Open air- felt safe as there were lots of people around.…
