Pompeii Tour and Baia Snorkeling Underwater Private Tour

Meeting point and pick-up at the cruise terminal. The guided tour of Pompeii will last about 2 hours, here a flourishing civilization, buried for 1,700 years, has been brought to life again and where you can see how the citizens of the greatest empire the world has ever known lived.

Entering Pompeii by the Sea Gate you will be guided first in the Forum, Pompei's main square, surrounded by temples, porticoes and law courts. 20,000 people lived in this provincial town, of which 2,000 perished in the horrifying eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79. Our family arrived in Positano on a Sunday evening, we chose an early morning walking tour with the guide Giulia the day after. It did not disappoint. she was very knowledgeable regarding local customs, history, typical products, best shopping places, family-owned restaurants, and their associated history. I believe she really made this tour enjoyable giving us a total different point of view. She was personable and so sweet. She gave us a wonderful start to a beautiful and very enjoyable week.

When we disembarked at the port, our well-dressed and knowledgeable guide was waiting for us in a spotlessly clean, new model Mercedes. We had eight hours to spend touring around and our guide gave us just enough free time in each location. He even recommended a perfect restaurant on a cliff overlooking the sea for us to have an authentic Italian lunch. I cannot recommend this company high enough! Everything was perfect. I will always remember the wonderful day we had on the Amalfi coast.

It was a hot day when Sasa lead us, a small group, through the streets of Pompeii and later that day to Mount Vesuvio. The tour was excellent, because Sasa is a very competent guide. He made the most of the time, by skipping crowded areas where we would have to wait, but showing other very interesting places. With his friendly and familiar nature Sasa declares patiently, is funny and when the tour comes to the end, you might be sad to say Goodbye to a friend. Looking foreward to do a tour like this again!

Our guide Andrew and our driver Pasquale picked us up at the ship. During the drive to Herculaneum they were highlighting details of the area, answering any questions we had. Both were very knowledgeable. During our tour of Herculaneum Andrew was very informative and was clever in the order in which he guided us so that we (a group of 5) were not caught up or slowed down by larger groups, we were thankful for that. Prior to entering Herculaneum we toured the attached museum to see the jewelry and other artifacts recovered from the ruins. It gave us a better perspective/understanding of the opulence of Herculaneum. Andrew was an extremely knowledgeable guide and we would highly recommend Tour Guide Naples. Thank you Tour Guide Naples for making our day in Herculaneum memorable.
