Exceptional Day Trip to Vesuvius Pompeii and winery

We had an amazing private day trip to the breathtaking Vesuvius, historical Pompeii archeological site and cosy winery.
The day started with a pickup from our hotel. Amalfi Day tours is a small family run company and our drive/ tour guide was chatty professional and placed lot attention to detail. The car (Mercedes) was very spacious and comfortable.
The scenic drive through Naples to mount Vesuvius was informative and interesting. At the top of the mountain there is a nice hike up to the crater, we were literally the first people on the top. Blue skies and stunning views.
Drive to Pompeii is short and we chose to hire an archeological expert who took us around the intriguing history of the Pompeii.
The day ended with a visit to winery Cantina Del Vesuvio, excellent views, great wine tasting with lunch.
The tour is must and we can highly recommend Amalfi Coast Day tours!

This team is amazing at what they do. John is very professional, responsive and courteous. We had tours scheduled with David and Carmine and transfers with David and John. The drivers were on time, professional, attentive, accommodating yo our needs and knowledgeable about the areas visited. The company coordinated a tour of Pompeii and the tour guide Grace was amazing! This entire team will be recommended to my friends and family and I will for sure call on them next time I am back to Sorrento.

Family trip to Pompeii, Positano, and Amalfi

I would highly recommend Amalfi Coast Day Tours. We had a family of 20 wanting to do different things and we were accommodated from the very start. 7 of the group did a tour of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello with Francesco and had a wonderful experience. The rest of us went to Pompeii, Positano, and Amalfi. We requested to do Pompeii first, to try to beat the afternoon heat, and we are grateful for being accommodated. Grace was our tour guide at Pompeii and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and professional, always checking in to see how we were doing and her passion really elevated the experience. Carmen and David were our drivers (we needed 2 vans) and both were excellent. So knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. This tour was a big highlight of our trip and I would highly recommend Amalfi Coast Day Tours!

on the first day jon luca picked us up from our hotel in rome right on time (actually a few mins early) in their mercedes and drove us to positano with a stop in pompeii for a guided tour by his sister grace. she is knowledgeable, patient, and fantastic in every way! then 2d later their cousin franscesco picked us up from our hotel in positano in the same mercedes and drove us down the amalfi coast (to amalfi, then ravello) and back to rome. they were all so pleasant, kind, and enjoyable. they are very safe drivers. highly recommend!

Great Full-day Tour of the Amalfi Coast

Davide did a great job of taking us to scenic spots, made excellent food recommendations and shared interesting facts with a grest sense of humor. Also, Davide drove safely and carefully navigated narrow and crowded roads. We would definitely use them again for our next visit to the Amalfi Coast

Pompeii Tour with an exceptional guide -Grace

Had a private tour of Pompeii with grace today. She is fantastic. Knowledgable, passionate. The tour was appropriately paced with the right amount of detail and storytelling. Brought the magnificent town of Pompeii to life. Highly recommend a tour with Grace.

Great tour - great driver

They personalized a great tour for us. We wanted to go to a mozzarella farm and when the one we wanted to go to was closed, they found us another one which was outstanding. Tour guide was great. Helpful showing us great sites and maneuvering changes as the weather changed. Great English.

So worth it!

We did one tour private (this one) and one tour with a group and much preferred the private tour. John was great to travel with. The lunch was AMAZING. We did Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano. Wish we spent the most time in Positano #1, Ravello #2, Amalfi #3 - hope that helps! Amalfi has the name of the region but it's also touristy and busy (and smaller) so it feels more hectic. Would have spent less time there and more time in Positano if we could do it again.

Ravello, Amalfi coast and Positano Day trip

It was fun drive with David, he gave lots of information while going through the places also he is very polite and fun loving person.

we really enjoyed the complete trip and got the chance to capture the beautiful scenic views of Ravello , Amalfi coast and Positano.

The drop/pick-up location in Positano is at top from there you have to walk down and return back, David has given us the heads up already hence we were prepared.

But, it is going to be a difficult walk for old people :) Take your time walk slowly and drink some water to reach the top.

The company picked us up from our hotel in Paestum and drove us to Pompeii where we met Grace , the lovely tour guide who they had organised for us. Grace was very knowledgeable and like our drivers , was very friendly and chatty. Our drivers dropped us to Salernovfor lunch after the Pompeii trip and collected us again when we were ready to leave. Everything was very easy and stress free. A 5 star service ! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone travelling in this part of Italy.
