This promenade along the bay of Naples it's a lot quieter than the chaotic city centre. Numerous cafes and restaurants that you can pop by. At the time of visit (around 6~7pm) it was relatively tourists free. Good option to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Wow this road next to the sea was filled with literally thousands of people walking up and down. The restaurants were packed and the walkway filled with people, dogs, bikes and horses. Great holiday atmosphere.

Our hotel was situated right on the promenade. It is relatively traffic free but as others say the looky looky men trying to sell stuff do get on your nerves . The 'free' to enter and view castle is on the walk and well worth a visit as are many of the marina restaurants.

A nice place to enjoy a walk with nice views of vesuvius n sea. It is pleasant to stop by one of the several cafes and have a glass of wine or beer. On weekends it's gets extremely crowded.

Nice to do in a good day, with view of the Vesuvio, Naples and the sea.
