My friends who love in Posillipo residential area drove me for a walk in this nice city park, high on a hill. The views of the sea and the surrounding areas are good on a clear day. I was delighted to be able to see flowers still, at this late season on the year. In particular, I loved the flowering tree from Africa. Be prepared for a rather long walk. At certain parts, we had no access due to repair and maintenance works.

You get it all here, myths, legends, traces of the past and oodles of natural beauty. The park’s fame, according to legend,is that it is the burial site of the poet Virgil. All things Virgil can be directed to the efforts by the Romans

We hired e-bikes from A D Car Rental just off Via Santa Lucia near Castel Del Ovo (easy and very reasonably priced) and cycled along the sea front and up the hill (effortlessly!). Great views all the way, but absolutely stunning from Parkours Virgiliano down to the coast. A couple of drink/ice cream stalls, reasonably priced just like a the sea front. A great afternoon trip.

Park is okay for a stroll around. Probably appeals to younger children. Very good views. I wouldn’t say this is a must-do ... you will see great views all along the coastline. You can park just outside the main gate and walk in a loop. They are two small cafes selling snacks.

If I started my jogging I wasn't sure if I'm able to reach to the park by foot, because some pedestrian roads just turn into only vehicles roads in Naples and you need to turn back, but the road up was perfect. I almost had an accident with cyclists who came down with high speed around the corner, but could jump off from their way. The views from parc were worth to go up. I wanted to choose the same way back and kept left, because I wanted to go left, but finally I found myself on the street that continued 3 km straight and then left. So I learned that if you need to go left in Naples you probably need to keep right.
