This was our second visit to Hotel Piazza Bellini, this time with adult family. The hotel is in a really central location, next to buzzy little Piazza Bellini, and a short stroll to all the main sites in the historic centre. The big bonus is a beautifully cool courtyard to cool off in after a day of sightseeing and to have breakfast in. The hotel is very comfortable and modern, with simple furnishings and interesting artworks. Staff were very helpful and responsive to queries, even late at night. Naples is a busy, authentic, vibrant city and though there is graffiti on many beautiful old buildings, the vibe it creates is what makes Naples the destination it is.

As advertised, this is a very busy square. Walking by earlier in the day is a little less crowded but later on a Saturday night (especially after the local futbol team just won the league for the first time in 33 years!) is an entirely different story. There are some old ruins just sitting there to be viewed from behind the fenced in area but the real treat is the dozen or so bars and restaurants that line the place. A great stop while wandering about the city to get some bites and drinks.

I usually organise my own trips and this one wasn't exception. Ine of must see was Bellini square. The composers statue in the midle, little shops and caffes around it. It seams to be one of beloved gathering points for locals and visitors. If I had more time, perhaps nexr time, I would have spent late evening there. Worth seeing.

Brilliantly set in a refurbished "palace" right on the edge of the Old Town. We had a VERY small room, so be sure to ask for a room with windows at eye level! Windows were almost 2 metres from the floor! Very clean. Excellent staff at Reception and cleaning. Very helpful. Trip recommendations by Reception were brilliant. Breakfast was the highlight of the day and the courtyard great for relaxing with a drink after sightseeing. Recommended... but ask for a more traditional room.

After two flights (started in California) and a taxi ride walking into the welcoming and quiet courtyard was a gift. The staff, the room, breakfast and the building itself were all top rate.
Make sure the hotel arranges your taxi rides, if needed.

We met again after some time in the company of friends who were visiting Naples for the first time.
And we enjoyed a morning drink.
There are many bars and refreshment points
The square is always busy with a friendly and effervescent atmosphere.
The Greek walls are a very interesting attraction!

A small piazza (square) in the center of the the historical district contains a lower level with ancient ruins. I must to see. Not lost of signs explaining, however info is easily found when googled. Free to visit and cute cafe around.

We were staying virtually across the road from Piazza Bellini.

Its located in the busy historic centre of Naples.

Its named after composer Vincenzo Bellini who studied at the Naples Conservatory.

The square contains a statue of Alfonso Balzico, an Italian sculptor and painter, dating back to the 1886.
beautiful monumental palaces of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries surround

Its in a vibrant area with lots of cafes and restaurants.

This is a little piazza in the heart of the historic areas. Lots of interesting music shops and various other shops nearby. There is a Greek wall from the 6thC BC here, and a few popular cafes. At night it is a very popular spot with students and locals, many groovy little bars nearby.
But OH SO dirty!! Rubbish everywhere.
