There is so much going on in this little piazza. On the one side it looks like a/the lottery going on with numbers written on boards and people sitting or standing and looking and cheering. I never got the gist of it. It has an...More

We stopped at this Old Town square for a respite after hours of exploring Centro Storico. Pasticleria Giovanni Scaturchio had beckoned to us across the street with its baked goods and we went in to purchase a sfogliatelle to eat in the piazza. The shell-shaped,...More

The square is ok. The buildings around it are pretty nice. Especially the old church. But the place is really dirty like most of Naples. And the fully armed soldiers detracted from the feeling. Just ok.

Nice little square with pretty good atmosphere. Defo worth a quick sit down and coffee just to rest up a bit.

Was buzzing with activity, lots of restaurants, bars & souvenir shops nearby. This was in the afternoon, so should be more lively in the evening.

This pretty square is bordered on the south end by the street-alley Spaccanapoli, on the north end by the nave of the church of San Domenico, the Palazzo dei Di sangro (where musician Carlo Gesualdo murdered his unfaithful wife Maria d'Avalos and her lover Don...More

With it’s Church, Spire, Restaurants and proximity to the University district, this is understandably a busy and vibrant part of the City. The Spire is of particular interest as it is the only one of the Three Spires in Naples that can truly claim to...More

A huge piazza with a grand obelisk in the centre of it. Whilst we visited there was a big police presence around as they were setting up for some sort of concert. It is not far from the main historic street so there was a...More
