Rooms are basic and comfortable. I would not want to travel on a seat/chair booking for 10 hours! There was confusion when we went to the info office (small red building near boat) they sent us to another building who then sent us back to find out the GNV / SNAV was in the same building as info office, you... This was my first experience with taking a ferry (and at 10+ hours!) and I really enjoyed it. Easy check-in in Ancona, my boyfriend and I went early to be safe, so got to board the ferry as one of the first couple people which was helpful for checking in and getting our room. Rome was clean and as comfortable... More

We bought single tickets from Sorrento harbour ticket office on the day of our travel for Capri. We did have to run from the ticket office to nearly the end of the pier to catch out ferry, since we were running late. The ferry was big, with comfortable seats and quite empty. There was a bar as well as toilets and our journey... This was a very good Ferry service - however - beware. We caught the passenger ferry to Capri. THe ticket office was a bit of a nightmare - but we could only purchase one way tickets. Turns out - on busy days you may not be guaranteed a return berth! Better to go with a tour - they somehow manage... More

Took this ferry from Palermo to Naples and was pleasantly surprised we had booked online from Sydney and just had to collect our tickets from the office at the port at 6pm which is also when you could board - we did have to walk back to the entrance where a ferry shuttle car took us directly to the ferry... We took the ferry to Capri from Naples. Boat was nicely air conditioned, although the trip was more like an hour than the 45 mins advertised.

Took this ferry last week. It was quick and efficient. What helped greatly was knowing that you must go to the ticket booth to get your boarding passes as the pre-printed ticket confirmation will not do. People are quick and to the point, no frills. This may be interpreted as rude , but they were actually very helpful. Enjoy your... More

We departed from Napoli on the SNAV ship LAZIO on an overnight trip to Palermo First there were just two elevators that could only take two passengers and luggage to the 7th deck. I let my wife wait and I walked up. I got up there before she did. Checkin was slow and confusing. Got our cabin and one of... More

I took the ferry from Naples to Procida. The agent sold me two tickets when I needed one. When I discovered the error, as I got on the boat a few minutes later, I was told it was too late to go back and straighten it out and should speak to an agent when I got to Procida. The agent... More
