I came here with my girlfriend on the 21st of August, and we were very happy with our experience. It was just the two of us with our instructor Giulio Abussi.

I make pizza all the time at home in deferent ways, now I know how to make it the proper way. My girlfriend doesn’t cook at all and she even managed to make amazing pizza.

You start of the class learning how to make the dough, and the recipe. Then you will make pizza with yesterday’s dough. We made 4 different kinds of pizza, a Margherita, a Marinara, and two other I forgot the names of. The pizzas all tasted amazing and fresh.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and patient, and he knew how to tailor the lesson for the level of the student.

I would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn how to make pizza. It cost more than others but it is worth it in my opinion.

We attended the four hour class on how to make a Napoleon style pizza. Our Pizzaiolo was a great instructor. We made a pizza with four different flavours to sample: margherita, marinara, and two others with tomatoes and either buffalo mozzarella cheese or fior di latte. After wards we got to make a pizza from scratch on our own, and put whatever toppings we wanted on it. All around it was a great experience.

A 3-4 hour pizza making class with AVPN (the association which certifies the authenticity of the Neapolitan pizza) was simply an amazing experience. Tommaso was our "pizzaiolo" (pizza making instructor) who was passionate, patient and most importantly, fun when introducing pizza ingredients, history and every process/step. It is definitely not as easy as it looks like and requires plenty of unwritten skills/know-how to achieve the pizzeria-level pizza. During the class, we were lucky enough to try out Tommaso's pizza, in which he was particularly proud of the crust! :D The class wasn't a one-time exercise - it is possible to ask for more practices before making your ultimate pizza. Highly recommend it if you're looking for an alternative travel experience!

This association is between the proponents of the Disciplinary that is the guidelines to make Neapolitan Pizza (later this disciplinary became law of the state) and it was one of the main proponents to make the art of the "pizzaiolo" become intangible heritage at UNESCO.

They held pizza making classes where on one day you can discover this art and also professional courses for those who want to make "pizza" their profession.

In any case, you will find very professional, courteous staff ready to help you learn all the tips and tricks of the trade.

Had an amazing pizza making class with Peter.

Peter’s English is extremely good (he’s actually from England originally, but father is from Naples), he’s very friendly, and most importantly he’s very passionate about pizza / food in general!

This is the class to take if you want to learn how to make traditional neopolitan pizza. If you’re interested in other pizza styles, then you wont get much help but everything from dough -> cooking gets covered in this course. I was able to get a lot of my questions answered and was able to enjoy delicious pizza at the end as well!

The best experience in Napoli. It has inspired us to buy home sized Pizza Napolitana oven with kneader.

Do you love pizza? Do you want to know more? This is an excellent experience and you should enrol now.

Our class had 6 people and the instructor. Part of the day was spent on theory, and then you made dough, and then (with dough made by the school the day before) made pizzas and ate them. Highly informative and a lot of fun!

I booked the Neapolitan Pizzs Maker for a day experience for today. Upon arrival, I realized I had foolishly left my camera behind in the taxi I had taken there. It was a random taxi I had taken on the street. As you can imagine I was very mad at myself for being so careless and a bit upset about it.
Giuseppe, who was in charge, asked me what was wrong and when I told him, he took it upon himself to call every single taxi service in Napoli to try to find my camera. He must have been on the phone and on his computer for over 1 hour. He did not stop until he was able to find it.
Some time later my camera was returned intact to me.
I would have never had it back had it not been for Giuseppe’s efforts.

Apart from all this, my camera worries were almost forgotten by the amazing class taught to me by Tomasso. For a few hours my worried were taken away as I was instructed on the historical aspect of pizza, and the beautiful act of making true Neapolitan pizza. Tomasso was amazing. He was kind, funny and very knowledgeable. He made the class an experience of a lifetime!
I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Napoli!
