Excellent, I hadn't been there for years, very well kept, little known but really beautiful, even the music in the background is evocative, it's nice to observe the church from above as you go up, it's curious to go up from the cells onwards it seems like another complex
p.s.
I also recommend visiting the main cloister which today is part of the "municipality of Napoi" so you can easily enter from a side door

The monumental complex of Santa Maria La Nova consists of a church with 16 side chapels, two cloisters, a refectory.
It also has various rooms for meetings created in environments rich in works of art: the ancient sacristy with furniture from the 1600s as well as decorations and stucco on the ceiling, the refectory with a fresco of 1500 depicting "The ascent to Calvary", the silver room.
The small cloister is covered by frescoes from the 1400s and 1500s depicting scenes from the life of San Giacomo della Marca.
The church was rebuilt in the early 1600s in the Neapolitan baroque style.
The ceiling and the marble inlays alone are worth the visit to the church.
The ceiling is wood, coffered, carved, decorated in pure gold and with stories from the life of Mary, saints, prophets, characters from the Old Testament and virtues.
Stop in the chapel of San Michele Arcangelo and look at the painting by Teodoro D'Errico in which San Michele is depicted as if floating in the air; compare it with the picture of the same subject by Guido Reni who is in Rome where San Michele has an athletic pose and rests a foot on the ground.

I don't know how many went to visit the church before the story came out that maybe there's Dracula's grave. Even if it's a lie, so be it, the site is worth a visit.

First of all on the internet they write opening at 09.00 but it opens whenever it wants and the same goes for closing, which makes sense to close at 15.00 in a tourist city.
entrance price €5 but I don't think it's Dracula's tomb, tourist trap??? Perhaps
