About
Napulitanata is a concert hall dedicated to Neapolitan Music Heritage, especially to Canzone Napoletana and Tarantella. Everything comes from the need to set up a place in the heart of Naples where everyone can have full access to the great local music heritage in an experiential way, a sort of model after the Spanish Tablao or the Portuguese Case de Fados.

    A fun evening in Naples
We were pleasantly surprised how much fun this evening was. Not only were the musicians talented, but they engaged the audience, and everyone had such a great time. They shared words to the songs on a big screen and spoke in both Italian and English to accommodate. One of the more enjoyable evenings we have ever had in Naples. We will go back every time we visit!

“Napulitanata” should be a “must do” for anyone visiting Naples
Visiting Naples must include its music which has always been an integral part of its cultural history. “Napulitanata” presents this cultural heritage in a small room which creates a family experience rather than a musical performance. The artists, both singers and musicians, involve their guests in their performance. When I return to Naples, I will definitely include another evening enjoying “Napulitanata”.

Go to visit this wonderful city if you travel to Italy!
Naples is an amazing city! Full of life and entertainment where everyone is so nice and ready to help, even if you don't speak the language. The food is fantastic (especially the pizza and the mozzarella and the local wine). Downtown is so rich with historical building and churches and places and squares and little narrows streets, you won't believe what you are admiring. From the port you can take a ferry and go to visit the islands: Capri, Ischia and Procida or to the costiera (Sorrento and Amalfi). From Posillipo you will have the best view of the gulf, with the Vesuvio guarding it and the surrounding buildings, you can enjoy the espresso coffee and a sfogliatella pastry in any bar viewing the city. In Vomero you can have the best shopping experience of Italian items for every kind of price (but don't miss going to San Martino for the view, the castle and another coffee) I recommend to everyone travelling to Italy to go to visit Napoli💙💙💙

Great performance and contact with the audience.
Great performance and contact with the audience. About half of the public was Italian and willing to sing. At the end, we all clapped hands and sang. A little cup of wine is included :D You can buy a CD for 10 EU which I did. It's professionally recorded and takes you to the place again.

Highly recommended: a must when in Naples!!
I enjoyed every minute of it! Singers and players are simply amazing performers! The location is very unique: it was an old garage transformed into a cozy venue! A glass of wine and some tarallini are also included! It was a fabulous night and I recommend it 100%

    Da Vedere (A Must See)
One of the most enjoyable nights of musical entertainment I’ve ever experienced . The musicianship was of the highest caliber. I am Italian-American ( my grandparents were from a small town in Caserta) and this hour of song taught me so much about the experience of the people who were left behind when so many left for America, in a way I’d never thought of before. Do not miss it!

Highlight of our stay in Napoli
Spent a couple of very enjoyable days in Napoli before traveling around Campania, but in the face of a lot of competition, this was the highlight of our stay in Napoli. Fantastic performances of classic Neapolitan songs by a very talented and very enthusiastic group of musicians. If you like traditional/popular music, this is for you!

The city of Naples should subsidize these talented and passionate musicians who are working to keep the musical culture of Naples and Neapolitan music alive. I have been so disappointed to hear only English pop music in the streets and subways during my one week visit. Classical neopolitan music is very special in the stories it tells. It needs to be heard and preserved just as these fine folks are doing.

One of the unique things about neopolitan song is that the same songs are sung in entirely different ways by different musicians who make the song their own .The performers in Napulitanata do that as well. They are extremely talented and invested in this important project.

Make time to see the show. It is across from the museum easy to get to by metro or if you are in the historical center probably walkable from your B&B. Music is as much of the Neopolitan culture as pizza so be sure to include it in your program. I can’t wait to come back to Naples and when I do will certainly come to see the show again.

Absolutely fantastic. Great musicians, particularly the pianist, Pasquale. Manuela, the singer, has a powerful voice and loads of charm with which entertain the audience. I highly recommend the show. At the end they welcome spontaneous performances by any musicians/singers in the public. It was a lovely evening.

5 stars. I found the concert venue by accident while walking around the archeological museum and it was one of the best things I've done after 4 days in Naples. If you love music, classical, opera, and want to learn about traditional Neopolitan culture - I would 100% recommend catching a concert at Napulitanata.

The venue is small and perfect for the acoustics of a singer, bowed double bass, piano, and flute. It is amazing to hear the bel canto resonance of an opera singer in a small hall - the human voice filling a hall, from just a few feet away.

This is a one of a kind musical experience. I got chills from the singer and pianist, and the vino rosso definitely didn't hurt xp. The musicians were awesome and you could tell the staff really loves music and Napoli. If you want a live music experience in Naples, definitely book a ticket early to get a seat.

We had a lovely stay in Naples and Napulitanata was the highlight on our last evening. A well planed performance by very talented and enthusiastic musicians who not only made music but also took every effort to ensure a warm hospitality to the audience. Wouldn't miss it!

A small music venue just opposite and over the raod from the National Archiological Museum. Run by muscians keen on Napolitician music you'll have a fun and entertaining evening singing along as best you can to some well and not so well songs from Naples. Once in we were led to our seats and offered a drink, the show began with a short intro about Napulitanata and traditional music from Naples. And this set the scene perfectly. The lead tenor had such a perfect voice complimented by female alto; both perforing solo and in duet. The muscians are very accomplished and whilst one should not, the pianist Pasquale Cirillo stood out. His solo during the interlude was unbelievable.

Inexpensive, seating around 40, initmate and alluring. Booking was easy though you have to do so not earlier than about a month before you want to go.

This group of local musicians has renovated a small garage to make it a place for them to introduce traditional Neapolitan music, and they are doing a great job. This one hour show is lively, funny and interesting. The pianist was emazing as well as the rest of the group. we were surprised to have realized how many of the songs were familiar. Awsome!

I was in Naples for four weeks studying Italian in October 2021, and I attended three concerts here at Napulitanata. The musicians are dedicated to their music and are quite good! The evenings were wonderful. Interesting also because one evening the house was mostly tourists but on another evening it was 80% local people! You really should go and listen. It adds so much to your visit in Naples.

I live in Ireland and I found about their Christmas Concert online before I went to Naples. They are really talented artists and they definitely deserve to be known country-wide also worldwide. Their place used to be an old taxi storage and they turned into an awesomely warm and intimate concert hall. If you ever visit Naples, take a look to their events schedule. I hope you get lucky enough to have the chance to see their performance.

This concert is an absolute must when in Naples! I was surprised to find it was not at all touristy but felt really authentic, most of the audience sang along and were probably Italians. The musicians are very skilled and the atmosphere warm and intimate. Do not miss this show!

A magical evening with traditional Neapolitan music performed by very talented musicians (the pianist was amazing!) and songs delivered with passion and love for the city and its heritage. The show engages the audience and the chemistry between the performers and the public was really felt. The ticket includes a welcome drink - you can sip on a glass of wine while listening to the tunes of old Naples. Well worth it!
