I recently visited Naples and hired a guide recommended by Rick Steve’s whom I have been following many years. Again his recommendation was spot on. She caters to my interest and recommended the copedimente which most people skip when I hired her for national museum. She has a doctorate in art and archaeology and her mentor is the one who recently discovered new things in Herculaneum which unfortunately I didn’t have time in this visit. If you are a curious observer of archeology and art and history she is the perfect person to contact. I came away with better understanding of Pompeii I visited and understanding of art masters.
