Local, hidden but crowded beach with cool swimming arch

Swimming through the little arch is cool, but beach is definitely crowded. Felt like it was the local hangout spot, which was nice

More similar to the rest of the Amalfi coast in that this is a smaller marina/fishing village. Tons of boats/yachts out on the water.

I just love Marina Piccola, we had a couple of outings here, to the public beach and also to a beach club, it just depends on what you want! I like them both on the public beach as it's easier to get in and out of the water, but at the clubs you get a the ocean and a pool... More

We booked a boat trip from the a firm in Marina Grande, Sorrento and the skipper took us and one other family across on a choppy day giving us a good tour of the whole island and dropping us off at this little beach to catch the bus to Capri town and funicular to Marina Grande.

The water is crystal clear and green like the emerald. Unfortunately there were too many boats around and sometimes we could smell gasoline....

This really isn't much of a marina. It's a small rock ledge that allows only one boat in at a time. We waited about 20 minutes just to dock and at least that long to be picked up.

Well worth a visit you will not find this on a tour you need to get out in your own and find it. Use the bus services they are cheap and easy to use. The beach has some great restaurants the prices are high but we'll worth it for the views.

The beach is busy and pebbles of course looked popular with locals you can grab a bus down from the bus stop in town To rent two sun beds and umbrella around 35 euros a few restaraunts in the location. Worth incorporating if your staying for 3 days or more otherwise I would take a pass and do a day... More

Water shoes would be helpful for those with sensitive feet. The rocks aren't sharp, but uncomfortable to walk on. The water is beautiful, but sadly there was quite a bit of garbage floating in the water. Lounges are available for €20 a day or opt to spend time on the patio of one of the restaurants and drink or snack... More
