    Lovely garden and views
This is a small garden which you can enter for a minor fee. The garden itself is well maintained and has some nice trees and other plants. The highlight, however is the view over the sea and the Faraglioni rock formation. Worth a visit when in Capri.

    Beautiful views
I loved visiting these gardens when we went to Capri. Capri was very busy and it gave us the chance to get out of the hustle and bustle for around 45 minutes. The views were amazing so well worth the visit, especially at it was only €1.50 each for the pleasure. I’d definitely recommend for some time relaxation in the day.

Don't miss these elegant gardens and the fantastic views of the Faraglioni.
We wanted to walk the Via Krupp (glad we did!) and passed the entrance to this beautiful garden by accident (also glad we did!). We debated whether to spend the couple of Euros to enter, but did purchase entry tickets from a vending machine and walked up the short stairway to reach this magical place. The views out over the sea are spectacular, and we took some wonderful photos of the Faraglioni rock formations. The gardens are beautifully maintained and definitely worth visiting.

    The Views!!!
If I could go 3 1/2 stars I would. The Gardens are lovely but very small, it doesn't really feel worth paying an entrance fee for them. There isn't really anything to tell you about the history of the place which is a shame. However the views are fantastic, it definitely has some of the best views in all of Capri so I do still think it is worth a visit. Go for the views not for the garden and you won't be disappointed

First, if you go to the website to buy tickets, it says the only way to buy them is ahead of time. This is not correct. There is a ticket office just outside. The walk from the center of town is a bit of a hike so plan accordingly. You can’t get a taxi anywhere close to the entrance. It is a just fee for the views you get. This was my favorite thing we did in Capri. The views of the famous rocks are amazing. You can also see the path that leads down the water. The water color looking out over all the boats is so blue. Well worth a visit.

The Giardini di Augusto is easily reached from Capri town. By navigating your way through the labyrinth of alleyways, passing beautiful shops and hotels the footpaths lead to a wider walkway called Via Mattereotti. Walking along here will take you to your destination. It is well signed.
The stroll to reach the gardens is as enjoyable as the gardens themselves.
Entry into the garden is free and visitors can if they wish leave a donation.
The garden is beautifully kept. It has a sense of peace and has a variety of seating areas and plenty of areas of shade.
The views that you discover from the different areas of this garden are simply breathtaking. Each of the views making superb photo opportunities.
This place is definitely worth a visit. Even if you’re relatively short of time on the island like we were, it’s a place you’ll be glad you discovered.

Some have commented below that these gardens are free, but they certainly were not when we visited last week. However at 1.5 euros it’s well worth the entrance fee and trust me, you cannot get much else for only 1.5 euros on Capri.
Close to the center and a short walk through the narrow lanes from Piazza Umberto the gardens are next to the Charterhouse of San Giacomo, and comprise of a series of panoramic flower-decked terraces overlooking the Faraglioni on one side and the Bay of Marina Piccola and Via Krupp on the other.
Due to the views it provides it is a magnet for the huge number of walking tour groups that come off the ferries and ships docking in Marina Grande, so best visited early morning or evening if you can.

A must-see on Capri to admire one of the best views of the Faraglioni and Via Krupp. From the viewpoint you can take postcard photos. Admission costs € 2.50 (ticket can be made online) decidedly well spent.

Beautiful and very well-kept gardens, with several areas from where the main spots of the island of Capri I Faraglioni open. So the place is very popular; many people come here specifically for selfies against the backdrop of these rocks. The gardens have a fountain, a large ceramic bench, entry costs 1.50 euros, the ticket office is located under the gardens. Last entry at 19.30 pm.

These gardens are quite small but offer beautiful views out to sea. I think we only spent around 15-20 minutes here and had to squeeze past people queuing to take pictures in certain spots (but that goes for a lot of spots on the island). There's a really small entrance fee, a couple of euros I think. All in all, I would recommend if you're in the area!

Just a short walk from the centre of Capri. The gardens are very pretty with fantastic views. Just time your visit we arrived mid-afternoon and it was very crowded with everyone seemingly wanting a selfie of themselves with the stunning background. I gave up trying to get a decent photo there. Gardens we're a little bit more tranquil.

This is a small picturesque garden with amazing views. There are a few sculptures and some beautiful flowers, but honestly you pay for the spectacular view over the Mediterranean. There are no bathrooms, but you can pay to go across the street. Don't buy the combo ticket unless you plan to visit a villa on the other side of the island.
