Ride up to this little piazza and enjoy a coffee and something to eat then wander through the alleys and streets to see what amazing place Capri is!

Main square which seems to be always crowded and that's the biggest drawback. Nice views from the adjacent terrace.

If you want to see a whole bunch of Americans tourists coming with their tour group, this is the place to be. Super crowded and super overpriced food. It seems like an outdoor mall with some restaurants. The view from near the funicular is nice...More

Lots of bars around this piazza. As with most things on Capri, they are not the cheapest. Good for a stop to watch the world go by.

Before leaving Capri we stopped here, had a drink and caprese salad. It was finally sunny and there were so many people. Mostly tourist. At night the piazza seems more magical with less tourist and more locals.

There are four restaurants in the Piazza. We ate at the piccolo. Servers were awesome, food and drinks were great.

Somewhere you can’t miss - everything that is going on - a must see and enjoy. Just to watch life passing by.

People watching is the name of the game here followed closely by enjoying an opportunity to try the local prosecco or gelato. Accessible from the nearby cable car terminal by only a short walk and leading on to over half a dozen tightly packed side...More

The square isn’t big, but it is beautiful. It is just off a row of expensive shops, with a clock tower, crowds of tourists, and cafes with outdoor seating. Take a table and have a drink and a bite to eat, it will cost you,...More

If you plan to spend a holiday on the island of Capri, it is worthy of staying at Aacapri. It's definitely a better place. The village of Capri is over-spotted by tourists and aggravates the day servers, especially with big cruise ships, quick-looking visitors. Anacapri...More

Same as previous answer, its a busy tourist spot, so can't see the shops and tours being closed. Its their main income.
