We stayed with the family, Lido located in the Port of Sorrento well cared for and with friendly and competent staff, sheltered by some cliffs makes the sea like a natural pool. to strongly recommend also the restaurant of the lido you eat really well spaghetti alla Nerano fantastic and fried fish ascoutta and tasty. They also have a fish counter from which you can choose. Definitely to retire!

Recently, we visited Peter's Beach Club in Sorrento Italy, and it was a delightful experience. We rented a couple of umbrellas and chairs, and as soon as we sat down, the friendly staff started serving us drinks. Ordering was a breeze with their QR code menu, and despite our large group of thirteen, the food came out quickly. Every dish had that authentic Italian taste that made our day at the beach even more special. I highly recommend the following: - La Caprese - Impepata di cozze (Mussels) - Saute di Vongole (Clams) - Fish and Chips - Frittura Mista - Italian style french fries (these are not potato chips they are fries potatoes) - Beer, Mojitos, Coke If you're in Sorrento, I highly recommend spending a day at Peter's Beach Club it's a great spot to relax and enjoy some fantastic local flavors.

Great beach club. We contacted them by email and they were the most comprehensive. To book umbrella and sunbeds, just show up the day before and pay. For 22 and 23 August we spent 59€ per day. There are all the amenities: showers in several places, various stairs to access the sea and bar / restaurant. Prices from Sorrento (e.g. water 1,5L 3€, limoncello spritz 10€). All very well organized and attention to detail. We recommend it!

The reality is that it’s quite expensive—€25 per person just to swim for a lounge extra for the umbrella. We arrived at 4 PM and still had to pay the full day rate of €25. We did it for the experience. The beach itself is nice and, in my opinion, better than the main beaches in Amalfi or Positano. However, the service was hit and miss. Our lifeguard was great, but the other staff were inconsistent—sometimes friendly, sometimes not. Make sure to bring a towel, or you’ll have to pay extra. Overall, I recommend it, but be prepared to spend money!

What a dream day!!! We spent the entire day there today, with my older father, my husband, my teenager and my young kids (5 and 7). It was a day where everyone in our party was happy. That’s hard to accomplish with a multi-generational trip. We were given very nice shaded chairs right by the beach. I could sit and watch my kids from the comfort of my seat while being served by a very nice waiter who take care of all our needs, including drinks, lunch, rental of a small boat that you power by your feet, and even found us a float to borrow for the kids. Highly recommend. Stop by the afternoon before and book if you can, especially on the weekend. We were there from 10am- 5pm. The lunch was really yummy, especially the eggplant sandwich and mozzarella tomato sandwich (and very reasonable!). The staff really made sure we were happy and enjoying our day. I felt like the staff treated us like you would expect to be treated at a much more expensive private beach. 10 out of 10!!!! Thanks to Peter Beach for our memorable day!

Without a doubt the best restaurant in Sorrento for traditional cuisine. The fish is always fresh, very often it is local fish so guarantee of quality. Prices certainly not cheap but, in my opinion, largely justified by the location and the goodness of the raw material. In fact, when compared to other restaurants in the area in my opinion they are even convenient. Highly recommended,

Loved our day at Peter’s Beach Club. From the ladies at the entrance to the men running the drinks and food the staff were excellent and the service was first class. The steps into the water and the cold shower facilities on the terrace were awesome! I hope to be back in the future

Firstly, it is €25 per person to use this beach and for that you don’t even get a towel.

Yes, the water is warm and clear and the swimming good. But when we were there and the weather turned, Peter’s Beach were not interested in accommodating the customers, despite the extortionate charge they levied.

No they couldn’t find us a table in the restaurant. No we couldn’t move a table under an umbrella. In fact, the patronising proprietor made the point that she couldn’t talk to God to get the weather changed, although I wasn’t asking for that. What I was asking was that they budged up and made space for their rain-lashed customers until the storm had passed.

My advice is not to bother with any of the “beaches” in Sorrento as they all seem much of a muchmess - extortionate, money-grabbing with zero bang for the bucks they take in.

St Peter beach is one of 3-4 beaches that are lined up together coming from downtown (and closer too).
To go to the beach, you have to descend to the actual beach. You either walk (lots of steps) or you take the elevator for which you have to pay going up and down. The water is beautiful, you can see different colors of green and blue, the water is at the right temperature.
Bring some googles because it’s beautiful under the water.
The access the beach is either by reservation and you get the best seats, or you go to the part that doesn’t need reservation, there you pay entrance, pay for the chair per each and the umbrella. Just to get in, I paid over 50 euros for me and my son just to get access and they seat you where they want.
I don’t know how much is the reservation but to be honest, you don’t need it because you can cross between beaches and nobody cares.
Be sure you get there early! Between 8 or 9 am because it gets really crowded about noon. If you are early, you can enjoy the beach more because there’s not a lot of people. We arrive about 9 am and left at 2 pm, the perfect time to tan, swim, snorkel, eat (another 50 euros) and enjoy ourselves.
Be aware of the summer sun!, you get tanned really quick.

Me and my best mate had a wonderful time at this beach!

€20 per sunbed and €8 for an umbrella- sounds pricey but you get the whole day and the location is beautiful, also bery easy to get yourself in the water for a swim.

The club had a bar and food to be provided, so staff could bring this to you when ordered. Prices were not awful for them either, compared to some of the other beach clubs in the area.

Definetely will come back here!

The place is nicely located, close to a nice pizzeria restaurant.
The staff at the entrance is very rude and the prices are high: 20 Euro for one bed and 8 Euro for an umbrella. Sometimes the sea water is not clean.

Don't go there for hanging at the beach.. you pay 20 Euro for a sunbed which is definitely more than too much! The people are not really friendly. If you walk like 50 meters further there are more beach clubs which look better and where you pay half of the price. Unfortunately Peter's Beach was at our first sight so we went there.

Do not go!! This beach ruined the whole sorrento for us. People were VERY rude (one of them started to blackmail and said that next time I will have to lay on the rocks). You will get decent (still bad) customer service when you are wearing a bikini.

The person in the entrance could not be more
unpleasant telling us that if we did not a reservation there were no place for us. Clearly, they are full of tourist; she did not speak in the same tone to the Italian people before us in the queue. If you want beautiful beaches, go somewhere else: Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Greece, France. But Italy, it is expensive to go to the beach and they do not know how to be friendly.

We stopped here as this was the first beach club we came across, unfortunately we didn’t look further. The service was extremely below expected. You pay 48€ for 1 parasol and 2 sunbeds. For this price we expected at least some level of service and hospitality. The menu was very limited and food closes after 4pm. Moreover, the lady at the door was very rude. Wished I would have read the reviews before hand. Don’t go here!

We went last week and were happy with our experience. I went as a single again today and was appalled at how I was treated. I was told by two people( one particularly rude) that I couldn't have a bed as they don't give out beds to single customers! They also said that ALL of the beds were reserved. They were empty. I told the young man that the business was poor. There was a young Italian person waiting in line ( alone).....wonder how she got on?

It’s an ok place to have fun at the beach, but nothing special. It gets a bit crowded during the day and you can’t see Vesuvius because there are bridges with sun beds everywhere. The water is clear and it’s a sandy area.
