I Googled "antique stores in Sorrento, Italy" & this came up. After a 4 min 17.5 euro cab ride (highway robbery, beware!) we arrived to find a large department sized store with inlaid wood & silver items in the window. I was excited, thinking it was an antique mall & i would be in heaven. After fighting our way through... More

Just received our side table along with a lazy susan top. It came very quickly. The only surprise was the $47 USD import duty I had to pay DHL. Another was and I hope won't be a problem, the VAT refund. I had a choice of missing my plane ride or getting the stamp. I was 2 hours from my... More

I collect proper music boxes (the ones with the barrels) in Sorrento wood so I thought this would be an opportunity to buy something local while here. There's lots of stuff throughout the shop. There were some things on display which we were well within my price range but there were others that were way over priced. Having seen these... More

We received our beautiful inlaid table this week from A Gargiulo & Jacuzzi. Arrival was on time and unharmed, expertly packed and shipped. This unique table (which we designed specifically for ourselves with the help of the studio owner) was exactly as we had hoped and is an exquisite addition to our foyer. So glad to support this time-honored tradition... More

We went on a tour with our cruise ship and they stopped here for a demonstration of veneer designs on furniture. It was interesting and the furniture was beautiful. It was very expensive. The store did offer many other beautiful things such as handmade tablecloths and ceramics. They wrap them up to make them easy for travel. It's worth visiting.

I was very glad our bus stopped here for free bathrooms and shopping. A craftsman demonstrated how inlaid wood is created and it is totally mind-boggling! The furniture was gorgeous, and there are music boxes for smaller budgets that make an excellent souvenir. The display of Italian ceramics is lovely - some unique patterns - not just what you find... Just a word of warning. Be cautious when buying from this store. They are extremely pushy and quite desperate to get sales. We went in looking specifically for Murano Glass. We asked the assistant Irene if they sold it - not the small pieces of jewellery but sizeable pieces. She informed us they did and showed us a cabinet with... More

Our tour guide recommended we stop here. The family was beyond kind, and was so sweet to our 4 year old! Customized a beautiful table and chairs, and cannot wait to receive them! Top notch customer service and quality! Highly recommend visiting this wonderful family and beautiful store!

We visited via tour from cruise ship. We ended up staying there for an hour or more. Bought a bunch of jewelry and such for us and family. When we got back to the states, we decided we wanted some other furniture pieces. Via email, they were able to identify the pieces we wanted, sent us pictures, and were able... More

Family run store, they were so wonderful and helpful. We ended up buying a roll top desk, coffee table and jewelry box. Beautiful workmanship and they are now prized pieces in our home!
