This totally exceeded our expectations. Learning to cook with an Italian family was amazing. For the day, we were family. We made so many different things and ate them all. What a warm and welcoming family! They are clearly close and caring. Each and every one of them brought something to the table, both figuratively and literally and it all... More

A great evening was spent at Villa Ida. I brought 18 high school students and we cooked a great meal of Mozzarella grilled on lemon leaves, Stuffed shells, Lemon Chicken, Tiramisu and a few other great nibbles. The family owned operation was welcoming and accommodating with the students. Great setting for a cooking class or reception.

I have wanted to take a cooking class when traveling abroad. What better place to achieve that dream then in Sorrento. My husband and I did not want an intense cooking class. We wanted a class that was fun, no stress and learn something we could actually do at home. Villa Ida was perfect. They were very prompt at responding... More

We enjoyed the experience. I would have liked a bit more hands on but overall, the experience was well worth it. The Cuomo family could not have been nicer. I wish I could live there!

My wife I thought this was one of the highlights of our Honeymoon. You will meet the whole family, right down to the sweetest little daughter. Start by picking all the fresh herbs, taste the wine and cook an amazing meal. Don't miss this!

Spent one evening making dinner with a group on a beautiful farm in Sorrento. It is family owned and family operated. They are very inviting and warm, making you feel like a part of the family. Then Papa Charlie takes you into his wine cellar to show you the wine that he makes. Best wine I ever had! It was... More

Personable , warm , friendly. A diverse group. Nice menu selection. Great tasting of homemade wines. Wonderful day! Just what a day of cooking in Italy should feel like. Garden to table, cooking indoor and out and Uncle Charlie and his sense of humor and homemade wines.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed learning to make an authentic Italian meal. From the moment you arrive you are welcome by a wonderful family who make you feel right at home. It was incredible using fresh ingredients from the family's garden for the cooking, cooking in an indoor/outdoor kitchen, and getting to experience Charlie's vintage wine. I highly recommend... Everything you could ask for from a holiday cookery experience. We were welcomed by Roberta and settled in their lovely garden with cool drinks, fresh cake and luscious coffee before donning chefs hats and aprons. Then it was down to fun business of learning to cook the Italian way with Angela and Roberta. Lots of the ingredients came straight from... More

We were picked up from the cruise terminal and transported to spend time with Roberta, Angela, Charlie and their families. Learning to make gnocchi was fun as was preparing the eggplant parmigiana and limoncello tiramisu but first we were provided with cool drinks and freshly made cake. Charlie treated us to time in his man cave trying his previous vintages... More
