Boat Excursion to Capri Island: Small Group from Sorrento

193 reviews
A boat tour around Capri is the perfect way to discover the island at a relaxed pace sharing the happiness with a small group of people ( max 12) on board. We will pick you up with a free shuttle to your hotel and we will leave from the port of Massa Lubrense sailing under the coast towards Capri with a first stop at the Marciano natural waterfall to take some amazing photos,to show later to your friends once you'll be back home, and take a refreshing bath. We will continue towards Cala di Mitigliano and Punta Campanella, the extremity of the Sorrento Peninsula to arrive in Capri welcomed by the Salto di Tiberio, a precipice overlooking the sea, and Villa Jovis immediately followed by the "Grotta del Corallo" and the "Grotta Bianca". The tour will continue sailing towards the Faraglioni Rocks, the Natural Arch of Capri and Villa Malaparte. The first part of the tour will end with a stop for a swim in Marina Piccola with a view of the Faraglioni, before a landing on the island for a stop of about 4 hours. On board we will provide you a packed lunch with vegetarian sandwich and beverages! The return journey is approximately 40 minutes, a free shuttle to the hotel will be waiting for you at the port.

Words cannot due justice to the gastronomic experience of today. You are welcomed by the patriarch of the family Charlie who proceeds to convey the history of the grounds and how their family business has grown over the years. You are then handed over to his daughter who proceeds in directing you how to prepare a scrumptious 5 course meal including insalade, pasta, veal, zucchini “flowers”, sliced potatoes w olive oil, and tiramisu w lemon. Cannot forget Ida’s white wine and Charlie’s red wine which “makes you happy”. Please make this a must if you visit Sorrento-you will never forget the experience.

Visited here with a group of 11 friends for my girlfriends 30th birthday and had the absolute best day! The family who run this and have done for many many years are absolutely amazing! They welcome you into their home and make you feel so welcome. We cooked around 4 courses from what I remember followed by a wine tasting from their homemade wine. The cooking class was super fun, very easy, they had great English and everything tasted amazing! The wine was tasty and plentiful. The whole day was really reasonably priced and every one of us left full of food and wine with a massive smile on our faces! Highly recommended! Thanks again guys!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our morning at Villa Ida. From the warm welcome to cake, espresso and almond milk, through to the cooking and preparing to the eating as well. Everything was delicious. The family was lovely. The villa is a haven amongst the hubbub of Sorrento and the whole it was cool and a relaxing pace. It was such a wonderful experience. It was lovely also sharing with another family and meeting other people. Roberta and her father Charlie were great and so were the other members of the family helping out. Charlie plied is with wine and Limoncello which also helped the convivial spirit.
