My name is Vittorio, as you can probably tell I am a native Italian and have been providing limousine tours since 2001. I was born in Sorrento, a little town perched on the bay of Naples, I grew up here in the south of Italy and love to show off all the beauty of my region. Before starting my own business I worked with some of the best limousine car service companies in Sorrento, Positano and on the Amalfi Coast. I have and still work with best hotels and travel agencies of Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello Naples, Rome and Florence. For many years I learned from the best until I was capable of giving better than best possible tours, I take pride in ensuring every person gets the most out of their visit to Italy. In fact my primary goal is to make sure you never forget the time you spend with me! I take it to be a great privilege that you would choose me to help you experience Campania (Which is Latin for countryside - even the Romans knew it was the best in all of Italy!). My hobbies are photography, especially on the Amalfi coast which has many great spots to take pictures from. In fact, when I'm in the car with my clients, I try not to miss any single photo opportunity. I also love to travel, I think it is one of the best things in life. I have been to the USA, UK, Thailand, France, Spain and one of my dreams is to see the all the capital cities in the world. On every trip I made, I always tried to understand the local culture: in fact, it is something I try to do for my clients as well, helping them to appreciate the beautiful southern Italian culture: Art, history, food, the hospitality of the people and the many different handmade items. I am so thankful to live in such a marvellous part of Italy, near historical beauties such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, Oplontis, the wonderful city of Naples with fantastic monuments, main town squares, International Museum and do not forget that THE BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD IS IN THE BAY OF NAPLES! The beautiful landscapes of the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento Peninsula where you will find a breathtaking views. Positano, the vertical village, Amalfi with its historical Saint Andrew's Cathedral and Ravello with its beautiful villas. It was visiting these places from my little hometown of Sorrento that awoke the love of travelling in me and I love being able to share that with other people. Vittorio was an unfailingly gracious host for our 8 hour tour of the Amalfi Coast. That's a long time to spend with anyone, but Vittorio made it a very pleasant experience by providing lots of interesting information, answering all of our questions and even by not talking when sensing that we were a little tired at the end of the day. His incredible nerves of steel in navigating the unending twists and turns of the drive while calmly giving us detailed and interesting information on the history and special sights (including several lookout points that we had to ourselves) of his beloved Amalfi Coast was truly impressive. We appreciated the early 8:30 am start to get ahead of the big tour groups in Positano and to avoid the same large groups in Amalfi. We had ample time to explore Positano and Ravello, and Vittorio provided excellent reccomendations for gelato (Baffone) and lunch (Da Salvatore) in Ravello. The restaurant had a rare combination of stunning views and excellent food, which was not only delicious, but artfully presented. Vittorio made reservations at Da Salvatore after trying several times to make reservations at a lunch spot I had picked, but that was closed for lunch. Finally, we loved Vittorio's flexibility in allowing us to suggest stops that would be of interest to us or to allow us to spend more time in places that we enjoyed. Vittorio was a very engaging host and provided exceptional service throughout the day and even gave us restaurant and gelato recommendations in Sorrento (the town where we were staying), which were very much appreciated.

Vittorio is one of the best private tour guides I've ever used and I use them a lot as I'm an enthusiastic solo traveller who likes to do their own thing. This usually involves photography, gastronomy, gardens, wildlife and beautiful scenery, and Vittorio delivered on every count. We communicated a fair bit before I arrived to discuss two bespoke full day itineraries, both of which surpassed every expectation. He turned up in his immaculate Covid-ready Mercedes looking very smart and professional with a big friendly smile. As a native, his knowledge is exceptional and he answered my endless questions about all and everything with good humour and enthusiasm. He blooming well knows everyone... endless cheery welcomes everywhere we went which included Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Vesuvius, Herculaneum, a wine tasting/lunch, and an olive oil factory tour/tasting. This is a huge advantage as he can arrange anything you want. His recommendations for great restaurants and honest appraisals of other activities were given generously. His greatest wish is for us punters to have the best time possible in Sorrento and for us to go home full of joy and happy memories. That's a huge tick from me!
I can't recommend Vittorio highly enough. Book him now... you'll have a ball, laugh a lot and learn a whole lot of stuff you'll never find in a book.

When our cruise from Venice cancelled we decided to create a land itinerary and spend the time in Italy. We are so happy to have found Rosato Tours. Vittorio worked with us to create a perfect agenda for our four days in Sorrento. Day One we toured Pompeii with a private guide Pino who was like walking with a history book of tales from the catastrophic events long ago. We then lunched with a wine tasting at a Pompeii winery. Food was yummy and the wines were fresh and unique to their soil. Our second day we toured the Amalfi coast from Amalfi (the furthest point back through Positano and the a lunch stop. Our driver for the first two tours was Arrone and he is a true gem!! Pointing our interesting sights along the way and stopping for photo ops at some of the most breath taking cliffs and overlooks.. A courteous and safe driver and our van was very comfortable with a great air conditioner! The third tour was to Capri by ferry. We started with the chair lift to the top of the island to take in the 360 views which are breath taking. Back down to AnnaCapri for some shopping and points of interest and then descending to Capri for a bit of time before our ferry back. I cannot recommend this company enough and would give 6 stars if I could!

I arranged 3 separate private tours with Rosato and could not be more pleased with my experience. I made my arrangements via email however I phoned Vittorio one night and he answered my call immediately and was very pleasant and helpful despite the late hour for him.
Aronne was our driver for our transfer from Naples airport to Ravello, he was easy to find in the crowded airport, took our luggage, led us to the restroom area and then we were off to Ravello. He stopped so I could take pictures and gave us a lovely description of everything we passed. I was so pleased with his kindness and courteous manner that I contacted the company and requested him for our tour of the Amalfi Coast.
We spent 8 hours with Aronne for our Amalfi Coast tour and he listened carefully to what we were interested in doing. He gave us lots of information and fun facts about the areas we passed by and the areas we stopped in. Whenever possible he stopped or slowed down to allow for photographs to be taken. His driving was impeccable and I felt 100% safe at all times with Aronne behind the wheel. I throughly enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend Rosato and Aronne.
Our final day with Aronne was a transfer from Ravello to Florence. He was conscientious and aware of our needs, the temperature in the car, and made the journey enjoyable. He delivered us to the door of our hotel with a smile on his face.
If you want a private car and driver while in the area you cannot go wrong with Rosato Private Tours.

We highly recommend Rosato! We hired Rosato for 2 transfers: Naples Airport to Positano, Positano-Salerno and a full day private tour of Pompeii and Villa Oplontis. Vittorio really took care of us so we could just sit back and enjoy our holiday! He's very responsive and accommodating.
On our private tour of Naples Museum, Pompeii and Villa Oplontis Aaron was driving and Pina guiding was amazing - we got to see all the newest discoveries in Pomeii and saw Villa Oplontis which was a marvel with the frescos in such good condition. This was our third time to Pompeii so we wanted to go a little deeper, see something new and learn more. Pina is so full of knowledge! Aaron is a delight as a driver!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with wonderful staff and communication from beginning to end. We booked three different tours with Rosato Private Tours:
1) Transfer from Naples train station to Sorrento with a stop for amazing pizza and a visit to Herculaneum
2) Private tour of Amalfi Coast with a Path of the Gods hike
3) A full day with a hike on Mt Vesuvius, a visit to Oplontis and a stop in Pompeii.
Communication with Vittorio at Rosato Private Tours was easy and fast and he helped us to create our perfect itineraries. Our driver/guide for all three was Aronne and he was amazing. He was fun, funny, full of information and stories and he made the trips just so wonderful for us.
We highly recommend Rosato Private Tours. We had originally considered taking buses and/or trains to try to do these by ourselves but we are so happy that we chose this company and experiences so that we could truly relax and enjoy our time on the Amalfi coast.

We found the private tour guide experiences at Pompeii and Isle of Capri to be exceptional. The guides provided a first class personalised service and we saw much more than the group tours and received a lot more information. Being able to avoid the many cues was great and saved us a lot of time. All of this was organised by Rosato Private Tours.
The Tour we did with Rosatos was the first time we had enjoyed this type of personal experience, having travelled many times overseas in the past. We must say that the whole tour was just unbelievably easy. Everything was organised for us and the drivers went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and saw everything of interest. On the day we were due to visit the Isle of Capri the weather turned bad so the whole tour schedule was reorganised for us so that we could have the best experience. Being only a small group was a definite advantage.

After doing extensive research, I decided to contact Vittorio as we needed a transfer for 7 from Naples to Sorrento and back. The experience was amazing. Easy to book, great communication, on-time pickup and wonderful drivers both times. While in Sorrento, I decided to reach out to Vittorio at the last minute to see if he could help with a driver to Positano as well as a private boat tour to Capri. Although he was all booked up, he was able to get another driver to take us to Positano as well as booked us a fabulous all day trip to Capri. We decided to skip the Pompeii tour as it was too hot and asked if they could show us around Naples before our flight. Once again our driver picked us up on time in a very comfortable Mercedes van, showed us all the wonderful sights in Naples and even booked us a table at a Michelin restaurant.
I definitely recommend using Rosato Private Tours to anyone looking to make their trip memorable while keeping the logistics simple. Sure made my life easier!

We had a great day touring Amalfi and Ravello! Our terrific guide, Aronne, picked us up at our apartment in Positano and we enjoyed the beautiful drive along the Amalfi Coast in a spotlessly clean, air-conditioned Mercedes van. Aronne knew all the best places to stop for photo ops. He made lunch reservations for us in Ravello at Salvatore and we had the best meal of our entire stay! It's about a 15 minute walk to get to Villa Cimbrone but the beautiful gardens and views are well worth the effort. We had explored less expensive ways to get to Amalfi and Ravello but we are SO glad that we splurged a bit and booked this private tour. We would have wasted so much time if we had used public transportation. This tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. Vittorio quickly responded to all emails. I would highly recommend Rosato Private Tours and would definitely use their services in the future.

My family (3 generations spanning from age 10 to age 68) participated in the Gastronomic Tour advertised on the Rosato Tours Website. Unfortunately, we were unable to participate in the wine tasting due to issues at the winery. Vittorio offered an alternative instead, but we chose to focus on the other experience provided--olive oil tasting, mozzarella making and tasting, pizza making, and a gelato treat. Our driver, Aaron, was very upbeat and funny. He did a great job of engaging the children as well as the adults.
I would highly recommend this experience. You were able to see the beauty of Sorrento and taste amazing food!

Hi, if you are using rosato for a tour they will be able to recommend restaurants for you. I can't recommend any specific. We did have lunch at a nice seafood restaurant in amalfi, which they recommended. It's right on the seafront!
