While walking into town for dinner we passed this shop. A sign was posted, offering us free tastings of their Limoncello. The young lady served us with a smile and proceeded to tell us that seven lemons go into each bottle that they make. Each bottle has 30% alcohol. I have never tasted a better Limoncello in my life. If... More

When you are in Sorrento, make sure you stop by l Gardini di Cataldo. The limoncello is delicious; so good I bought a couple of bottles. Their prices are very reasonable. The staff is wonderful, so friendly and cheerful.

In our quest for a gelatteria to please the whole family, we stopped in and met Giuseppe, the proprietor of I Giardini di Cataldo on Corso Italia. He mixed up the BEST chocolate frappe' ever. His fun and entertaining personality made each visit a party, and his desire to prepare customized treats kept us coming back each night. While in... More

Went here with Sorrento Food Tours. Amazing to find a quiet oasis of lemon and orange trees in the middle of downtown Sorrento (which is bustling with tourists).

On leaving our hotel Grand Flora in Sorrento, we walked through the lemon orchard and then visited the cafe and shop where they make limoncello, also trying out some of the other drinks. It is located in Via Correale, then continue walking around eastwards into the Piazza. A worthwhile visit.

They have a very large orchard that you can walk through just a block away (shady!) as well as a small one connected to the shop. You can see right into the area where they are actively making, bottling and labeling limoncello. With all the options for limoncello in the city, this is where we bought bottles to take home... They have their own garden that produce all the fresh fruits (lemon, orange, etc.), everything is organic without pesticide and all bottles are made in house. They sip everywhere in the world, and it's been passed down from many generations in the family. Very affordable and tastes great!
