As Sorrento only has one very small free/public beach if you want a more comfortable experience then Leonelli's beach is your best option. You get 'free passage' through the 'beach' which is where one of the staff walks you through to look round it but to stay there you must pay 12 Euros for entrance and sun bed, 9 for... More

We spent a fun, lazy day at Leonelli's beach. While not cheap for five, they threw in a free umbrella and we had an excellent position. The food and drinks were good and standard Sorrento prices - delivered with a smile. The kids enjoyed the large clean swimming area with the water seats a highlight. There were also clean toilets... Sorrento has a really small free beach that is super crowded so to get a nicer beach experience – head to Leonelli's. It’s a bit pricey with a sun chair on the deck costing 12 E, but it was a nice way to spend the day with food and drink service as part of the experience. Umbrellas are 6E extra.... More

Reviews here are all fair and accurate but even with our hotel discount a pair of sun beds and a parasol amounted to €32.50 for the day... The prices rise in the high July / August season.

We decided to try the harbour 'beach' at Sorrento and weren't disappointed. Good quality sun beds and great service direct to the sunbed. Views towards the safe swimming inlet or out to sea. To be recommended if you fancy a lazy day.

Great food in a lovely setting and at reasonable prices; at least for Sorrento. Staff were attentive.

Access to most of the beaches is paid which is impt to note. This is no exception. Once you have paid you can chose to be by the sand if you have young kids or on the deck. You can chose to spend the entire day there like we did and it was excellent. The service was good and the... More

My friend and I spent two separate days at Leonelli's between excursions to re-charge our batteries. The sunbeds were 12 Euros for the whole day, with 5 Euros for a parasol which can be hired at anytime throughout the day. Leonelli's is accessed from the near the port, by St. Frances church, there are a quiet a number of steps,... More
